- Today's video comes from old footage I have from a trip I did, but never touched. The sights and sounds from this drive are bound to sooth your soul after a long day, so relax and pop in your earphones, it's a long one.

I love the sounds buttons make and all the lights on when starting it up. Car manufacturers could learn a thing or two from bus manufacturers.

Why do you stop so far away from the car ahead of you when your at a stop light?

A little rule of thumb in the Smith System of defensive driving - "leave yourself an out" - which pretty means that you want to be able to be able to leave room on all sides of your vehicle in case you need the cushion. I admit that I don't do it all the time, but that is the reasoning, really...
The reason is that if the car breaks down in front of him he needs to have himself enough room to maneuver around the car
It’s a precautionary measure in case the vehicle in front breaks down we know we have enough room to make the swing and clear it
Gives you an out as well as saves you liability if you’re rear-ended. A larger gap means more room to be pushed if hit from behind, less likely to hit and damage the car in front of you. I was always taught here in Ontario, Canada that you should always stop where you can see the tires under the car in front of you plus some road.

Didn't know blue bird made these buses!
They dont, it just happens that the two brands used Actia clusters, which make the 3 Tone chime and turn signal

This bus was built by MCI, a bus manufacturer based in Canada.

The amount of buttons make it look like an airplane cockpit.
