Burgundy mist Stratocaster. They're around. You could make a vintage accurate (and superior to even an American Burgundy Mist Strat) by making one on MJTs website. The amp is a blonde+oxblood Showman. Knowing these guys, it's probably an original 1960-1963 6G14 Fender Showman, with a tone ring cabinet equipped with a JBL speaker. Often regarded as the holy grail of Fender amps. If you're playing surf music: This is what you want to play out of. I know. I own one.
Terrible camera work - dunno why most of the video is focused on instruments and crotches. And there was so much camera motion it made me sea sick. A shame as this was a rare performance with Spikard and the wonderful Eliminators surf band.
"Pipeline" is the very best surf instrumental ever! Kudos to Bob Spickard!!
Saw Spickard a couple of years ago in Riverside and he could no longer play. Very sad. This is pretty good.
Nailed it.
You forgot to mention "Mr. Nightrider"...Jon Blair's a playin' with them.
This is music
I want that purple Strat, along with whatever vintage amp it's plugged into.
