Im 53. Growing up the Fabulous Freebirds wre my second favorite tag team and my top 6 man tag team. No matter where they went AWA, JCP or World Class they put asses to seats. Cant deny I had a great childhood.
Great song. I remember jamming to this as a kid at about 10 yrs old. Michael Hayes and Darwin Cornort handle the vocals. Darwins a great singer and person, when I met him about 10 yrs ago.
The most underrated song on the album and the best one too. @George IV he came out to this theme but it was cut and only starts at 03:59 Jimmy Jam Garvin also used this at superbrawl IV
Are you able to help with the lyrics at 3:28? It sounds like they are saying “They rode up their plane and sang it for all, that Freebird song!” Is that correct or am I way off? Thank you for the assist on this.

Sitting out back by a fire with a few Schlitz beers bumping to this song.
"I'm Freebird forever,
No, you can't change me,
No, not never..."
"Hi, everybody! Dok Hendrix here..."
I remember the first time seeing Dok on WWF TV and thinking what did they do to you freebird
@@injunsonny3437 I have to say, I actually liked when Vic Vemon outted him on LiveWire.
How and why is this not a karaoke song? It friggin' well should be. Awesome song!
It sounds like something Lynyrd Skynyrd would sing.
A tribute to one of the best tag teams and one of the best bands

Yes during match against johnny b badd at superbrawl iv
Yes, the day the stone cold stunner was introduced to the world as the 9-1-1
The end sounds a lot like the freebird solo
A lot of this sounds like Freebird which is cool. Like a sequel that is actually good.
Good songs
Song always just gets stuck in my head, THANK YOU!!!! (Not Complaining at all)
mahalo for the upload
I think Ted Turner can afford the copyright price so the Freebirds could have Lynard Skynard LOL.
This was the first WCW Knock off theme but it's too good for a Knock off theme. Believe me.
it’s a really well made song , rip off cover or not
Fly Freebird Fly

“They wrote it for Duane and sang it for Ronnie, that Freebird song!”
@@speakers79 thank you
Freebirds forever
The "another" became like a brother... 😒1:22
...so much like "a brother" that he's DAMN name wasn't even mentioned in the song! 🙄
Did they ever come out to this theme? Because I don't remember them doing so
Hayes did as a singles around the time he was feuding with Johnny B Badd
Yes many times as did all the wrestlers featured on this album in 1992/93 when it was released and sold at WCW events and though WCW Magazine
RIP Crash Holly
1952 - 2007
What the HELL does Crash Holly have to do with the Freebirds? 🤔
だいすき
3:20
long live the freebirds
Good theme but it's no "I'm a Freebird What's Your Excuse".,
Sounds like a Travis Tritt song, haha.
Defintly a Ripoff of Lynard Skynard
Sounds more like Travis Tritt’s I’m gonna be somebody
🎱 of Coke and a fifth of Jack Daniel’s
