Any suggestion or definetly patched ? Finally I managed to root my TV by following the Readme on the dejavuln-autoroot Github, by putting the files at the root of the USB stick and by creating highotoot.debug and motorot.telnet also at the root of the USB stick. I don't have a LG TV so not sure how well these will work for you. You will need to either root the TV and locate the options to disable the ads; or setup Pihole or AdGuard on a Raspberry Pi to act as a DNS sink. It won't block ads on UA-cam if the ads are being served from the same website (UA-cam in this case). To block UA-cam ads, use a different approach.

Yup this was a old hack I found on my lg g6 it was a zero day bug that infected any & every electronic, this same zero day bug was also what got us to hack the ps4 ps5 etc. It’s possible to also jaïlbreak an Xbox one & up , but due to hypervisor locks it wasn’t possible.

Probably, but people are more likely to have a TV already hooked up, so it's one less device needing power.
