- On the 1 year anniversary of my survival from Sudden Cardiac Arrest, 3 of my first responders who were responsible for my successful resuscitation, were getting together for a lunch at Castle Hill RSL club where it all happened 12 months prior. I asked if I could join Therese Wales, Kim Antonelli, and Steve Pace, and record a chat about their perspective on what took place that night, and to help promote how important bystander intervention is when it comes to sudden cardiac arrest. I am forever grateful to ALL those people who, on that night played a part in the Chain of Survival that ensured my life was saved.

God bless you, Greg. Keep advocating this information, it’s exactly what saved a family member of mine back at the end of November! They had a cardiac arrest just like you had in January 2020; it was because of early intervention that they’re alive today. Thanks for doing the community a big favor.

The information you’ve been providing us about CPR and AED usage is vital and effective all around the world. After all, I should know since my job irl requires to know these specific skills. I too am happy that FE’s family member was saved. The quick acting is what gives cardiac victims a better chance of getting revived and quick acting is what FE’s people did around his family member. And as you always say, doing something is always better than doing nothing; a rule I’ve always stood by whenever I walk into my work building. I wonder if it might be helpful for you if I made a video on how to place the AED pads on a victim?

I can't believe it's already been a year! My best friend told me while I was at work what happened and everyone was checking on me because they knew how big of a fan I am of yours. @@gregpageAM hi I've been a wiggles fan since I was 2 years old. And when you first retired in 2006 from The wiggles after 15 years it made me a little sad but I did enjoy Sam grow at the yellow wiggle.

I heard about what happened at The OG Wiggles Reunion Show last year, and after hearing what happened to you, it made my cry. Hi Greg, I've been a huge OG Wiggles fan for most of my life, even though I'm an American. You're part of the reason I decided to become a teacher and work with kids. hi greg! hope you’re doing well! i literally JUST came across this youtube channel and was literally crying happy tears when i found out that you’re still alive, healthy and well! wow, i literally have the most vivid, fondest memories of you and your wiggle friends because i watched you guys all the time when i was a child! the wiggles were pretty much a staple of my childhood and i think it was the television program that i watched the most, that’s how come it stands out to me so much i guess! i loved you guys so, so much!!!
now i am twenty years old and in a university (i live in the united states) and thanks to this glorious website/app known as youtube, i was able to relive my childhood and watch clips of you guys dancing and singing and acting, back in the good old days! oh my gosh, and i realized that i still have the same amount of love for you guys now as i did back then! why i decided to look you guys back up again, i frankly have no clue, but let’s just say that i’m a bit of a nostalgia hound ;)

So blessed to have you around Greg! I’m also grateful that we have people like you to advocate for something really important! Under your Keep the Beat music video, I hope you found my advice on how to place the AED pads on victims helpful. When dealing with cardiac arrest victims, especially since we are all different shapes and sizes, it is important to function the settings on the AED so that it knows how little or big of a shock to advise to the person if needed!
Yes, it's important that everyone knows how easy it to save a life with an AED. Even the folks who responded to my cardiac arrest were uncertain, but they did it, and it worked!
Absolutely Greg! My job in real life requires me to know CPR and how to use AEDs. I got hired for my job back in December 2019. I’ve not had to use an AED on someone yet, but I now know how to use one and to not be afraid to use one if I have to. The more people do something, the better the chances the person has to survive. As you’ve said, something is always better than absolutely nothing at all.

Thanks for being so open on this Greg and good job hammering home the message. Pretty much if your childhood hero who nearly died tells you to learn cpr; you bloody do it. I'm currently revising on cpr and using an aed.

Hi, Greg. My name is Hannah. I am 26 years old and I live in America. I constantly worry about you. I remember when you suffered from cardiac arrest on stage. I hope that never happens to you ever again. I'm so glad you didn't die. You're such a beautiful person inside and out. Suffering from cardiac arrest is a scary thing. Seizures are equally scary. Two years ago, I was heating up a chicken leg in the microwave while Mommy was cooking something in the kitchen. I began having a seizure. When Mommy looked at me, she said, "Hannah? What's going on with you? Are you having a seizure? Honey? Honey!" Then she walked me to the sofa, brushed my hair, and tied it in a high ponytail. She told me that I needed to consume more sodium and potassium. I also have a friend who suffers from constant seizures. When I went to school, I was sitting at a table with this friend of mine. She began having a seizure. I told my teachers. The teachers called 911. The girl was taken to the hospital. She still suffers from seizures. Daddy's stroke causes him to have seizures sometimes. One time, when I was a teenager, Daddy was having a seizure. He fell out of his bed and his food and beverages fell off his table. I kept on telling Daddy to look at me. When he looked at me, he stopped having a seizure. Last year, when I came out of the shower, I looked outside and didn't find the car in the driveway. I thought that my little brothers have gone somewhere. After I got dressed, I went to my brothers' rooms. I found my little brothers playing video games in their room. I then went to Jed's room. He was sleeping. I went downstairs and couldn't find my parents anywhere. I thought that they just went on a date. When I texted Mommy about it, she told me that Daddy had a seizure and had to be taken to the hospital. Daddy has been suffering from heart problems ever since he was a newborn baby. Ever since he was a little boy, he had to go to doctors' appointments regularly. When I was 5 years old, Daddy needed to have heart surgery, which means he got his chest cut open. He also got his arm cut open, too. He still has those surgical scars. I constantly worry about him. He's 64 years old. I hope he gets to live a long life. One time, my youngest brother Jeremiah had a nightmare. In his nightmare, Daddy died. He woke up crying and went downstairs. Mommy woke up and asked, "what happened, baby?" And Jeremiah said, "I had a bad dream. In my bad dream, Dad died." Mommy allowed Jeremiah to sleep with her. When we woke up in the morning, Jeremiah was hugging Daddy, who was still alive. I also had those bad dreams, too. When I was 12 years old, I had a bad dream that Daddy died. I also had a bad dream that my little brother Jed died. I also had a dream that my teacher died.

While you’re gone, I was a Sam Moran fan. But I was thinking about you for being collapsed on stage for suffering that makes me upsetting. But I didn’t know you grew facial hair like that. The Wiggles have been a part of my life since I was 3 years old. Even though I'm 20 years old this year I watch The Wiggles old, Sam and new loving every second of it. I wasn't there at that reunion but I am beyond grateful that these people have saved your life so you can keep on Wiggling so to speak. 🤣 I hope Anthony, Murray and Jeff are okay and are on top of their health.

I remember watching the live and saying to my friend who I had called who was actually there that night "Greg has so much energy tonight" right at the start but then towards the end about 2/3 songs to the end I actually said "Greg seems to have slowed down and suddenly doesn't seem himself is everything ok" and then you went down on the right hand side of the stage by Murray and at the time I don't think others realised your life was now on the line yelling "sing fruit salad" then muzz came out and said that things didn't look good and that they need all the prayers they could get and anto then broke down on the stage being kept up by the boys (I still have that photo) and then the curtain came down when the cpr began and I had a faint idea what was happening after seeing you go down which was very quickly was realised

I cannot believe that the og yellow wiggle finally has a UA-cam channel and yes a cardiac arrest and seizures are very similar cardiac arrest have to deal with the heart while seizures have to deal with the brain 🧠 but at least that I finally got my og yellow wiggle and that’s greg page.
