My longest kill was with a sparks pistol lol (I don’t use scopes). Thing is a pocket sniper.

Centenial Shorty with High Velocity is bugged right now and instead of giving 6/12 ammo, you have 10/12 ammo, just like the big one!

@occul4rsn1pes32 how they will make martialist interact with current and upcoming melee is really interesting. A rapier or some kind of spear, maybe a longsword?
@@kkownzor I'm willing to bet next event we will be getting a javalin or we will be able to do a stab animation with the bomb lance, with these two having the longest possible reach out of all the melees and probably benefitting most from silent killer since you won't be setting off the AIs as much meleeing them

@NoisR it's more so highlights than anything else. You know how many hours he has and how often he plays, especially during events, and this video consisted of like 4 matches. Now think about all the matches he didn't show where he did get trapped and burned. Trust me, hunt is unkind to everyone, even streamers.
@@floof2414 i know. ofc its just highlights but the fact it even happens that he dies and doesnt get burned trapped etc thats the thing. if i die close to enemies i get trapped or burned 100% before i can res no matter if there a re fight around or not. ofc he gets burned etc aswell but on his elo i expect that 100% of the time

I got a Centennial Sniper High-V soft headshot just last night from the south building of Fort Carmick to the north wall of Wolf's Head Arsenal!
I was so excited when I found the High-V In a special ammo box at the big hunting tower between Sweetbell and Carmick But yeah, this use case did temper my excitement a little.
^This is that one dude in all of our games who is just wasting lobby space.

Yup, on YT you see people self ressing 3/4 times in a match, when you play and you get downed...well, it happens exactly what you said, and the saddest thing is that entire teams wait out on the burning guy on the ground, even if that means leaving bounty team go for extract..it's just sad, they're drooling saliva at the idea of getting an easy kill or two out of your ress.

IMO it's even better than Mosin sniper with spitzer.
But it really depends of your playstyle. It shoots faster (1.6 vs 1.9), more ammos in the chamber, more base ammo and more ammos for ammos boxes.
And let's not mention 290 dollars vs 850 dollars. Only positive for mosin sniper is 2 tap range (but you should always go for the head anyway) and headshot range, but you don't have to play 200m away with a sniper (to each their own but the "rat playstyle" isn't for me).
I think it's a bit of a mistake, even if I enjoy sniping at a low budget, I think high velocity shouldn't be available for the sniper version.

It's better than Mosin or Lebel if you are in headshot range, otherwise Mosin or Lebel is better.

Crytek is really messing up with special ammo in general.
I belong to that dreaded sniper trio/duo now. And let me tell you...Centennial Sniper with HV... it's not that good. If and only IF you can consistently land your headshots, does the HV centennial work over the long ammo/spitzer variations. But not even RachtaZ lands all headshots. You'll be landing way more body shots than headshots. And many times where you could get a pen kill, or a two tap to the chest, you won't get that with the centennial. The damage drop off for medium ammo weapons is too drastic for actual long range engagements.
The Centennial has gotten so much love lately. It was already an overlooked choice, IMO.
So, uh... we gonna talk about the controller buttons at 8:30? I'm not making any hackusations or anything, but it's just weird to see that after they recently added controller aim-assist to Hunt.

I think he also has a mapping for auto run with controller which their are guides how to do it on PC

RachtaZ, great video ! looks good on youtube ! but the frame spikes is kinda bad. I recomand you put a frame limiter of -20 - 40 of total fps when playing the event. Im guessing you have a 144HZ monitor go for 100-110 fps cap when palying the event, will fill much smoother and better for streaming :D You can yous CRU to also kepp vsnc :D
As for game 1, are 5-6* so nice not to camp ur body and just let u res for free and fight them again?

So the games he uploads to YT are games where he is absolutely cracked and it's basically a highlight. Every game doesnt go like this. But youre entitled to your own opinion.

But i think all these variants and special ammo for all guns and more and more spammy guns are bad for the game in a grand scheme of things. ~200 dollars for a 800 velocity rifle that has respectable rate of fire is not cool imo.
Yea i also understand that Crytek wants a bigger audience, but pushing away the core audience that was hooked on the game because of its hardcore nature of the game, its not a good idea. Because lots of players will quit the game due to various reasons and the new players that are getting into the game because its becoming more accessible will just move on to the next thing down the line...
That has been the case with many games and i hope im wrong when it comes to Hunt.
Also these repetitive events with bullshit annoying weather obscuring effects... i mean its getting dull at this point...
Not to mention getting 1clicked headshots, prefired and other shannaningas by : vac ban/game ban steam accounts from Russia, China, exc...., normal accounts with 20 hours and 4 maxed out hunters where people are moving and playing like complete troglodytes but when they shoot they dont miss... and all of this got worse during the last event. Anyone denying the cheating/ ESP's getting worse in the last couple of months are lying to themselfs.
I hope the engine update will bring some freshness into the game and i hope they'll implement some better anticheat + spectate.
PS. That Sparks pistol headshot across the map while being aimpunched... LMAO
Really good analysis of the game’s current state, all stemming from just the addition of HV Centennial ammo. Very impressive and punctual.
One caveat however, while I also would prefer more unique weather effects that don’t obscure vision as much, I would argue that it is not as bad, due to the wildcard select option. If you prefer not to play in the undesirable condition. You can choose not to.
That being said, I do hope they add a brighter wildcard condition

Ok. Yes out of range, but you were missing a 25 bar bro. Sparks Pistol out of range does like 130~ damage ON HEADSHOT. Of course you're gonna get sniped just cause you're missing health lol
Edit: Sparks Pistol at 184m headshot range does 140 damage. Case closed before anything went south. It was a pretty impressive shot honestly.
I think it helped Ratcha stood still but yeah it was still a good shot nonetheless.

Does throwing knife melee one shot with Berserker and Assailant?
I don’t think the melee buff boosts the damage of the throwing weapons, but I’m not sure.
I'm a new hunt player I was wondering about solo necromancer, can you guys tell me what's happening at 5:23 ? He's downed to 2 bars HP left, but then proceeds to knife the other hunter and is suddenly instantly max ticks and full HP. I'm assuming it's some trait I don't know about?
This is rampage skill that is available in the event and can be purchased at caravans

These are high lvl lobbies. Audio in this game is very intricate, you can hear everything. So good players see with their ears.
Regen shot is an item yea. Also different heals. But most weapons kill to head or 2 bodytaps
Oh and the orange wallhack ability is only when you pick up bounty. But then also whole server sees where you are on the map all the time.
Solo revive: yeah they could camp the body. Also burn it so it loses max hp until it cant revive. Usually ppl burn and camp but it depends

please tell me how did you revive your self more than 7 times and always full hp with only 1 bar missing please show the traits you are using next time
playing solo, necro (lets you self-revive) and resilience (you revive at full hp, but doesn't restore lost bars)
he also had multiple copies of a new shadow trait "relentless" of which you can have up to three that disappear on use, they are used when you get a kill and are missing up to a bar of health burned or otherwise and they cause a restoration effect similar to a boss banish in combo with necro, this essentially allows you to spam revive to try get a kill or at the very least plummet MMR and if you succeed this guarantees 4 more attempts to do the same thing again and again
aim assist is absolutely horrible on PC at high MMR, no matter what the game is. Too slow, messes with your muscle memory, etc.

the higher velocity of the centennial means less delay and less lead required when it comes to going for headshots. Medium ammo more reliable over distance than compact ammo

The sound from the centennial is one off the worst sounding shots in all of hunt showdown. It's so bad, it's enough to not buy the gun.

The fact a PISTOL has a higher headshot range than a rifle just because the ammo type is nuts. Hunt needs to rebalence ammo types man. The medium ammo guns are like a middle child. Ignored.
Long ammo is good but too good compared to the rest.

Why is crytek doing this dumb shit where the event is only on the weekends again. If they are going to do that, then they should make it so duos and trios can make more money on the standard contract. I just don't see the benefit to only having it on the weekends instead of leaving it up for the full event as playable contract 🤦
