Sola is so dear! She reminds me a lot of my 6 year old grand-dog, Leia. The expressions and “zoomies” are identical to Sola’s. I can imagine Leia behaving similarly to the kitten as she was similar when her little 3 month old nephew, Atlas, arrived (they are both Miniature Aussies). They live a thousand miles away, so I miss them dearly; your video helped ease my longing to be with them. I fostered two tiny kittens at Christmas time; quite fatiguing but so joyful. The grief of giving them up once they reached the designated weight was challenging. I wish you wellness and thank you for sharing your precious Sola, and Jerry.

Today, the situation is completely changed: first of alla your Mistress seems to be OK (am I wrong?), then I meet your new tiny cute guest. Lovely guest. Heart-warming video. Talking about you, SOLA, it's impressive how you use your nose, your sense of smell to recognize everything around you. At 0:53 the camera-man films (such a great idea!) your exceptional nose moving from right to left, up and down, rotating on itself, almost wriggling, with the aim (I think) of capturing as many olfactory molecules in the air from that mysterious creature, the new little kitty host. Because you don't know who it is, whether it is a threat or a defenceless guest, but in doubt you fear it, and try to better understand it from the coming signals to your nose. It is no coincidence that dogs are used by law enforcement agencies for molecular searches for clues.
