Just a side note. Watch the color change of the parts as you rotate from front to back. Parts go from green to gold much like the Command Staff shirts would do under the studio production lights on original Star Trek series. It’s a cool “accidental” effect of lighting.
Another great review. And great tip on the Plastruct solvent. My favorite. It can be used for " welded seams on armor kits when applied a little heavy and " mushed out " it really melts the plastic and essentially two parts become one, permanently. Also if you want that cast look on your engine, dif.or trany, brush it over those parts before painting. This kit has more detail than my Aurora kits that I bought for .49 cents by collecting pop bottles, when bottles when to two cents I was rich! You remind me of those care free days. Thanks!
I think I did the full set with the base & the cool extras but they were the Glow-in-the-Dark kits ! How many did they make ? I remember Frankenstein Wolfman The Creature of the black Lagoon The Mummy Mad Scientist The Huntchback The Witch I think there was one or two more ?
i wanted to use the plastic arms/hands cause they look beefier than the resin arms. To me, the resin arms look too skinny, disproportionate to the body. I found it odd that moebius gives you the plastic "girl cradle" arms/hands & didn't mention in the instructions (section D). you're kinda forced to use the resin parts cause there's no girl in the kit. i might superglue the resin hands to the plastic arms, which case i'll have to scratch build the V flap piece that goes over the hand. there's also some minor fit issues but nothing crazy. Overall a really cool kit, so much better that the old aurora kit. jus kinda let down about the arms/hands oversight since i paid almost $40.00. i expected better from moebius since the Adam West batman was a perfect kit out the box.

You are very right, a good solvent solves a lot of issues a lesser glue cannot.
Thanks for the nice comment, enjoy the videos!
Someone brought this out way back when I was a kid, can’t remember who but I remember a buddy of mine had it back in the early 70’s. Cool!
You're thinking of the Aurora kit I bet. Aurora made some of the most wonderful themed kits back then.
hpiguys Workshop - Yeah that’s it, Aurora! And yeah they made a lot of cool stuff back in the day!
One of my all time favorite monster movies.

I remember Frankenstein
Wolfman
The Creature of the black Lagoon
The Mummy
Mad Scientist
The Huntchback
The Witch
I think there was one or two more ?
Very cool I'm a 70s kid.👍💯
Nice!
That's my favorite type of glue/cement. Its available under a couple of different names Plastruct, Plasmod, Flex-i-File among others. Good review.
Yeah, Tower stopped carrying it but I found it at Dick Blick's for cheaper than any hobby place with the coupon they offered. About $4 bottle.
DANG IT! Now I've got to find one around here. Thanks for the review, can't wait to see yours finished.
Thanks!
Great OOB review Chris. Moebius always has good details in their kits.
Sure do, thanks for watching Mike.
Watching your review makes me wanna build one.
Thanks for taking time out of your day to watch the channel!

The injected hands/arms are for the earlier release when the Creature is cradling the girl.
Good info Brian, thanks!
Really, really nice looking kit. And it's multi-media! :) Thanks for sharing, but dang, another kit to pick up!
Sweet! You'll do a great job on it.
Hi Chris, I don't know if you mentioned it or not, but is Model Round Up selling these monster models again?
No idea, you'd have to check their website. I do know they sell some of the figure kits I've done build reviews on, like the pirates.
Thanks for the info Chris!
I definitely want to see this when u build this
You bet!
i had this as a kid (long time ago) but sure its hands and head glowed in the dark ..
I just subscribed!!!!! Great review thanks
