I bought one for my Freightliner Cascadia. It can last for some 8 hrs before you have to start truck. You can leave it on when truck is running. It works well as long as outside temperature is, say, 95 degrees or below. For higher temperatures it will last a lot less. The way it works is the lower the temperature the more it'll leak your battery. It has 3 modes. At dealer they recommended eco mode, which basically is a fan, not an a/c. So I use the middle mode.
What dealer did you go to? I got one installed and its nonstop issues
Having a link to the product would be very handy
So 70 degrees is it?
