jesus it’s about time someone made an outer worlds lore video, the game is absolutely filled to the brim with rich, deep story and lore and i haven’t seen a single video strictly giving us lore after the game came out rather than old videos of people speculating about the backstory. thanks for making this man, hopefully this is the first in a series of these videos

That depends. Are they investors? Then it's a Ferengi nightmare. Everything is on the verge of collapse and only the few that are semi stable even bother to put on a shiny facade. As part of a hostile takeover? You are absolutely correct. On the verge of collapse, they could get this place at a rock bottom price(in line with the third rule of acquisition) and turn it into a profit making machine.
It ends up being closer to KotOR, since it lacks certain things from the iconic Fallout formula (That a lot of people love repeating when telling you why this game is overhyped) but overall I still find it much more enjoyable than Fallout 4, and infinitely better than Fallout 76.
Outer Worlds is an interesting universe to play in but in reality, corporations are very, very bad at running societies like this. And I don't mean in the Shadowrun dystopian sense, I mean in the "the whole place literally falls apart and either an actual government takes over or a rebellion happens. For real-world example: The East India company. They fucked it up so hard they made the British Raj look like an immaculate, well oiled, machine in comparison. Basically, this system shouldn't last for more than a handful of years and I guess it doesn't depending on your choices
I love the game but the loading screens are too long and often. I had to stop playing half way through. Crazy how bigger games don't load and much or long as this game

This game was made by two of the creators of the original Fallout. It's like a combination of Fallout, Firefly, and Futurama.

Nice, but wont mind some borderlands lore as well. Its my favorite mix of rpg and shooter. In way more wild than these game :)
