The Netherlands is probably settling off the fresh water to save the river spots for districts due to the adjacency bonus they get. And are probably setting up for an infrastructure project with aqueducts and a dam. I also feel like you shouldn't be allowed to use rock bands on your own teammate. Feels a bit broken since they have no incentive to stop it
Do players see the stats at top right? If so is that a mod, or is it actually in the game? My game doesn't show that so would be open to including it, if for nothing else then to at least see my own stats yknow
Having so many extra rules about what trade deals and alliances are allowed, how many city states you can capture, etc seems counterproductive. Players clearly forget them, and try to all optimize to the same plan (make lots of settlers, rush tank armies and fascism, roll over a neighbor). I think allowing different playstyles is easier to follow and gives more possibility for different gameplans.
Nice game and commentating again, I think it’d be awesome if u also could sum up some of the best games you’re streaming, u know critical moments&highlights like in sportgames. Would be more attractive to watch than this 6h videos xD
Why was Norway allowed to take Lahore and Valleta? I thought they were only allowed to own one city state. Is it because they took it from Spain, was this overlooked?
I think that since spain took it 1st its their resposibility to defend it and if they failed they used up their 1 state kinda like how spies work u only have a specific number of them and if one of them gets caltured u cant just make one u have to get it back
The whole game Russia was trying to win a culture victory. England defended most of the game but Russia was fairly close at some points. Cree and England attacked Hungary to get closer to Russia so they could kill him and prevent the culture victory. However Egypt blocked the way with tanks. Cree managed to get nukes, and destroyed Egypt's army. With nothing left to defend him Russia and Egypt decided to concede to Cree/England. However Pericles and Persia said if they don't get 2nd place they would start attacking Russia also. So Russia and Egypt took third place. And Norway (and Hungary) took 4th as he was in the process of dying.
I wish civ didn't last so long. Its such a complex game that esports could be really interesting. Not many people want to watch a 6 hour per game esport though.
Russia had freaking 3 more great cities and like 10 national parks. Egypt could've financed a Russian settler instead of upgrading for nothing... I'm sad.
