Ancestral Tarot is a wonderful book. It definitely takes a lot of energy because you are looking into the personalities and traumas of your parent’s & grandparents so emotionally it is on the level of advanced shadow work. My advice is to take it slow and make sure you watch yourself emotionally as you go through it. Self care is of utmost importance. But it is phenomenal because it allows us to heal our ancestral lineage. ❤❤❤
It is such a beautiful and insightful book ! I had to take a little break from it but I really look forward to dive back into it when the time feels right because I can really tell so much wisdom has been put into it so just taking my time slowly. I'm so glad you enjoyed working with it it's great to know it is a good healing tool ❤❤❤
I don't know why but knowing that the crescent moon is referred to as croissant in French makes me so happy :')🥐

Well I love the look of Oracle d'ors & ombre - that is going on my wishlist. The artwork reminds me a lot of Solara Occulto.
I also JUST got my hands on Poesis last week :) I haven't used it yet, just looked through - I don't think I had any idea how many cards were in the deck, it is quite massive.
Ohhhh yesss that is so true I think it would be a badass pairing with the solara occulto. Sadly it's one of those unicorns decks for me although I hear they are reprinting soon so I will be on that for sure :D And I hope you've been enjoying Poesis since you got it would love to know your thoughts. thank you so much for watching 😘

The card that sells the deck - I know that well! I'm definitely putting the Estrella on my wish list. I know of two not-quite TdM tarots with more diversity - there's one on Make Playing Cards called the "Old Fellow Revived." It's a recoloring of a 1973 Japanese deck called the Keishobou Tarot which is kind of like the Marseille Waite. The artist has redone the traditional figures to make the deck more diverse. There's another one that is printed through Game Crafter called the New Rosenwald. The original Rosenwald was very old - pre-Marseille, and known to us only through uncolored tarot sheets. So the creator of the deck colored the deck herself, which is so cool because there is some diversity in a deck completely in ancient style - and I have to say that it's a personal good mood deck because the colors are so brilliant and fun. I'm sending some energy your way and hope that you feel better soon!🐚

Great to see you again and sorry that your last weeks have been challenging. I enjoyed "les mythes fondateurs" from Le Monde very much too, I often find gems in their special editions. As for the decks you show, I always like discovering them, they all have something special..Oracle -wise, I like the oracle de la triade especially because of it's "no-nonsense"-ness. I like the way the"oracle du troisième oeil" is put a lot. As a Marseille fan, I can only love the estrella tarot, thanks for showing it. Marseille se modernise, ça fait plaisir 😀!

I bought Tarot for Troubled times to read and work with while I've been dealing with difficult times physically and mentally/emotionally for most of this year. I couldn't get through it. There's something about how it's written and organized that just didn't work for me while dealing with brain fog. I still intend to read it. But I also feel frustrated and put off because it wasn't written in a way that makes it readable with brain fog, which will happen to a lot of people while going through "troubled times." I'll get back to it eventually, hopefully.
The Kawaii Tarot has been on my list for a bit. Seeing it here in your video made me realize that I'm really in the mood for playful and colorful decks right now. I'm moving it up my list to be one of the next decks I purchase. 😊

Yes I can see that for tarot for troubled times. I loved seeing these books and decks (especially the circular one) and hearing your thoughts. I have the ancestral tarot book too but haven’t used it much yet. To me it felt more geared to those wanting to relate to immediate ancestors while I wanted to go further back. I share your interest in books that are tarot plus one. I hope there will be more published in the future. I found 36 secrets a Decanic journey by T Susan Chang a refreshing read especially for her iconological insights into the relations between the cards. Thank you so much for sharing your collection here 😊

I'm British but one of my fave cheeses is a little goat cheese log from France called Soignon - it's yummy just to snack on or sliced and melted on top of an omelette. Roquefort is another fave French cheese and has the amazing essence of caves! I'd buy a Tarot deck too just because of a cheese card lol! (esp if it's goat or sheep's cheese!) Anyway, always love to catch up with you and how you are doing on your magical island!

Great selection, Marine! I love the Heart's Eye Oracle. My one complaint is the the guide book wasn't in alphabetical order so I had to number the cards with the corresponding pages. But it could have been my copy. Nevertheless, it is a stunning deck and I featured it during Hispanic Heritage Month. Annnnnd, I just ordered the Estrella Tarot. Because, SWOON!!! I think I have a translator on my laptop otherwise I'll be reaching out to you.😁

🐚 Just so you know I’ve already decided to buy Estrella next month after seeing it on your Instagram! It’s so different from any other TDM I’ve seen. She made it fun and approachable and she really brought it into what feels like it could be my actual world. So excited about this one. I’m sure my computer has a function to translate PDFs.

Lovely decks as usual, added a couple to my wishlist (unfortunately it is quite expensive for me to buy indie decks, not only the price but also postage and taxes on top of them), so I have to stick with whatever I can find on Amazon. I own very few decks and have a bit of a long wishlist but for me it has to do with the phase I am in. For instance: I've finally got the Radiant Wilds Tarot (but it hasn't arrived yet, someone is bringing it over to me next week) and I would like some oracle deck to pair with it as it has that very specific desert and warm colours vibe. Its imagery jumps to my eyes and speaks to me, I haven't seen an oracle that goes with it yet, will try it with my Pure Magic Oracle, which I love ot bits, and feel the vibe 😊 Thank you for the haul video, hope you are feeling better 😊💚❤

Recent book for me, Book of Seances by Claire Goodchild. Haven't had time to read it but the illustrations are of course beautiful like all her decks.
Recent decks for me: Urban Crow Oracle which is great, Coastal Curiosities Oracle (love the cards, mixed feelings on book/meanings), Antiquarian Tarot, and the Lepus Tarot (kind of a creepy rabbit deck with beautiful, rich, dark toned artwork).

That is a fantastic list of new decks, and I can definitely see a theme there like they all would go well together which is awesome :D I agree that mammoth death card is so great, I have never been more happy to get death in a reading than with this deck haha & been loving it. I just got 2 new books that fit my style of "Christmas". Lol. A book called "The Krampus and the old, dark Christmas roots and rebirth of the folkloric devil." It's really neat with a lot of pictures. I also got "The old magic of Christmas " (Yuletide traditions of the Darkest Days of the year.) Haven't dug into it yet but the bits I looked at were intriguing.

I love the Ors et Ombres. Does the embossing on the front rub when they are shuffled?
I love it too it’s a great deck ! So far so good for the embossing, I’m not sure the edging on the side will be the sturdiest though as mine is showing some wear already but I don’t mind as it is easier to fix the edges 😊

Thank you ! Sadly I haven't seen anything about l'oracle du troisième oeil being translated. There are a couple of french decks that are being picked up by Rockpool, but they seem to be more tarot decks so far but maybe with time they expand fingers crossed that would be awesome.
