Great video as always. Just a reminder to everyone: after you do everything he did here, put the tire back on and carefully lower the car on the floor, then torque the 3 nuts on top. Needs to be at ride high to avoid misalignment
Thank you. Finally- the right amount of commenting, and good work. I haven’t looked yet, but I hope you have other videos, like maybe for the bottom A-arm combo
So I guess there is no way to get the strut out without removing the upper control arm bolt? It looks like you just unbolt it and it comes apart? I’m just worried about it not separating once the bolt is out.
Good video. My struts are original, 103,600 miles and I think it's time. They don't seem overly worn, but the "Thumping" I keep hearing in the front end is driving me nuts. And currently everything is tightened correctly. I believe new struts will fix this. Very easy and worth doing.
I have a 2013 dodge charger pursuit v6 RWD and was looking for struts online. No website I look at specifies weather the struts are for front left or front right. So my question is are the struts exactly the same for both sides? Thanks.
I know you asked this question a while back but, for anyone who still needs the answer to this question, yes the struts are the same for both left and right on the RWD model. If you have AWD or RWD/w police package, left and right are specific.
Thank you for your question. The strut were leaking oil. An other symptoms is that the car bounced like a boat in the water while going over bumps. Have agreat day an happy holiday. God bless you
Just came across this video and I was wondering I hear like a rattle noise when driving on a bumpy road is it because of the struts or can it be something else I hear it on the front driver side only? I had recently just changed my lower control arms and tie rods on both sides was thinking that was the problem but I still hear the rattle

Good video but you forgot to tighten all three nuts on the top
Hello. Yes, I did not show that in the video.... but I did torque the three nuts. 😀 thank you for watching the video and commenting!
What's up when everything is the same ,but it lifted the front end like 3 inches. It has thY gay California look.
New struts take time to settle, it’s not a California thing it’s a Carolina thing you nerd!!
