I use Sudden Storm on my ki-based frieza race cac and with golden form and no limit burst, it does 4431 damage, and the normal light combo can effortlessly combo into it if the hard knockdown at the end makes the opponent hit the ground, its so crazy. p.s: the 2 bars of ki it wastes doesn't bother me because I run a 9 bar ki build with the "leave the rest to me" super soul, so it really doesn't affect me at all. Another addition: You can also use any gigantic "ball" ultimate and combo into it as well, such as supernova cooler, super spirit bomb or what have you. It's just a great move overall.
Recently picking up on the game's PvP... I find that Afterimage and Phantom Fist are great as a newbie skill. They are skills that allow a user to avoid many gimmicks and setups. Phantom Fist also grants 1 bar of Stamina upon success. They are solid skills that can deal with things like Bending Kamehameha or SS Deadly Bomber, even Side Bridge. They also add a layer of mixup in the CQC, acting like a "slower" counter. You may not get a punish right away, but you still conserve Stamina. With conditioning, you can manipulate the opponent to play with a bit of reserve looking for these skills. They are also budget friendly considering that you do not need any DLC to get them.
Can't agree with the "great range" and "lot of damage" points.. It only hits after a knockback cause it's fast as hell and that's the only great thing about it.. It deals below average damage..
Burst attack is one of the worst for me actually.. It combos with literally nothing and the tracking is very minimal for how slow it is.. It can be fired behind, and that's the only tiny usage of it.. Use flash strike instead, wayyy faster and even deals more damage, can hit behind as well and it can combo with even the weakest knockback or knockdown..
@Kasper Soaring Fist is a limited time skill, but you can get it by changing your playform’s date to (what I believe is) September. Otherwise you can trial and error each month.
Once Xenoverse 2 is finished, I do want to do an ultimate review video which'll be me also unlocking every trophy. That won't be for a long time though lol
Lol good luck for trying to use bending kamehameha on better than average players lol you will lose everytime useless move. Tbh most of these moves are easy to escape if you're good at side to side/back and forth vanish

I like this one skill that counters ki based attacks that cooler uses, very great and I've used like 3 of the skills

ngl Tri beam, freedom kick and god breaker are pretty underrated in my opinion
I use god breaker on my Saiyan after the upwards kick and you can loop with it

Double buster is one of my favorites because it fires faster than Bending kamehameha. It does a good amount of damage too.
Metor strike is one the best moves in my opinion because it's a hard knock Down if close to the ground
True, and you can get ki blasts off, any sort of uncharged beam attack, or a swing kick, all being great

god fist is definitely a contender tbh with having ZERO start up frames, great range, great speed, and lots of damage
