no because its not really a counter in the sense it attacks no matter what it just absorbs attacks if thrown at it ya know
@@supersaiyancabby2889 it doesn't absorb the attacks, its like sudden death beam, if you don't get hit by anything then you will become vunerable for a second and be easily punished, THEN attack in front of you, while is someone attacks you, you will do the attack instantly, it doesn't just absorb the attack.
@Jonathan Jimenez cells attack simply stops ki blasts and nothing changes if it stops any kind blasts, but flash fist crush attacks instantly if you are attacked so the move itself changes if you're attacked or not, it REACTS to the opponent attacking you and attempts to attack them, that's a counter

While Ranger 17 may have only gotten 1 new move, at least it’s a really good move.
its good in the sense it can block a lot but not very useful cause you wont need it to block things from far really online

Toye Fagbulu if you're in a position where you can use rough Ranger to block an ultimate you shouldn't use rough Ranger you should Z burst Dash to them and then stamina break and deal a shit ton of damage.

The nice thing about Shadow Crusher is that it will break their stamina if you counter an Ultimate like Super Kamehameha.
Sudden death beam counters everything too. Idk why he made it sound like it only counters strikes, it even counters ultimates
MWOPPDLX it can also be used to teleport to dead partners if locked on. And if hit by an enemy youll teleport to them that much faster

I honestly find it a bit annoying that ranger 17 only got 1 new move. I mean he’s great and rough ranger is amazing, but I would have liked for him to have more moves

Here's the thing. Number 17 didnt really display anything else but the barrier and that awesome barrier punch he did on anilaza(i wish that was an ult)
they at least could have given him that finisher he used on that one girl from universe 2

For burst rush, I love how if you fire off a super kamehameha afterwards, it's an exact recreation of Ultimate Gohan's Ultimate move from BT3, which is my favorite.

@Super Saiyan Cabby28 You forgot Counter Burst, that's the most underrated counter skill nobody ever uses. P.S. I love all these counters (only using one for each preset) and never go into battle without them.

I run data input sudden death beam super guard and meditation , defense is key.. I might try using instant transmission with suddem death beam tho... I think there may be something there 👀

I'd like to add on that shadow crusher will cause a stamina break when used against ultimates such as Super Kamehameha and Super Galick Gun.
I like Rough Ranger since it counters both and seems to be more geared towards defending than the rest. Rough Ranger is basically like the evasive barrier but a little more versatile. Use it on a Ki stun and your opponent might just fly into like a bird and a window, free protection from random Ki attacks, can be used against melee and is generally a "get off me bro" type move other than a "I get to break your legs" type move.
the only issue i find in Rough Ranger is the time it takes to start the counter frames in battle where every second might get you killed by a cheap combo you can't really afford 0.7 second or more of "hey let me pose a little bit before preparing my move" and after that strike a pose that last almost 2 seconds (oh and pressure sign and sudden death beam counter strike and ki attacks/ultimate too)

Hey cabby, i do agree with you on burst rush being thr best in the game when I come to damage and combo continuing, but rough ranger can be extremely useful in parallel quest when the characters spam ultimate attacks. Because of the barrier. For damage I would go with burst rush but for defense and survivability rough ranger all day long

Recently, I've been on Rough Ranger & the others are great as well, but my all time favorite is still God Breaker, because it's very quick, does a good amount of damage, moderately safe (Varies on the opponent's strategy), & could potentially get the job done.
I know that most people don’t know this because you’ll only really see it if you get lucky, but if you use rough ranger when your opponent tries to do a fully charged heavy attack, it will put out the barrier rather than do the kick
Cant remember the name but it's the barrier that Bojack teaches you. I know if you time the execution and increase the size, it stays up quite a long time and great amount of moves. I use it on expert missions where the boss does that flashy lighting type of auto hit. You can avoid it instead of blocking or using your evasive.
Pressure Sign can come in really clutch if people get off an Ultimate you can teleport behind them and possibly break their Stamina if you're quick about it.

U corrected the pressure sign, which counters all moves, thats good. You forgot to add the shadow crusher breaks the stamina of your opponent when countering ki-based ultimate attack. There are also other supar attack counters like counter burst and bigbangkamehameha, which cancels out weak ki blast attacks. Flash fist crush should have been on this vid. Thats 1 of my fav counters. Evil whirlwind and all clear could be considered counters as well since you can attack while blocking. Theres also mystic flash, reverse mabakusenko, bloody counter, and a lot of Hit's time skip attacks. These are all counters.

oh it can basically take everything but we have psycho barrier for that an no ones really gonna hit you with an ult to where you wanna use it cause if they do you should just burst dash an break em
It’s not op at all and if your not a noob it’s so easy to counter cause the counter it self leaves you right open if you miss which lead to a stamina break Cause your wide open till the animation is over and if your fighting a try hard who know what their doing they can just ki blast cancel you before you can use the move so be aware MY BEST ADIVISE TO YOU GUYS IS TO USE SUDDEN DEATH BEAM it is by far the best counter in the game it doesn’t leave you open at all and even if you don’t get to counter attack it will teleport you out of danger so it’s a win win and it can even counter ki blast cancels so when someone is shoot mini blast you and being an annoying prick you can punish them but that’s just my 2 cents !

YizTheBoss Gaming I know you can punish the move what I’m trying to say out of all the counters and I mean every single one il say with confidence that sudden death beam has the lowest risks all the other counters leave you vulnerable to a free hit or a stamina break like for example god breaker lot of damage from the move but if the opponent knows what they are doing they can just ki blast cancel u before u use it or wait 4 seconds after it activate s and hit them I’m basically just saying out of all the counters it has the lowest risks and in my opinion the best one to use

Man i think 17 was dominating through out that whole entire Tourament of Power, he save Goku's ass a couple time because of this move and the fact that he even dealt some damage to Jiren with that Blaster Ball move was so good

You should do a character test with all of the sword based characters (tapion, trunks, dabura, fu etc)

One thing you should probably mention is the direction of the counter. Most counters work only against attacks from the front, but not all.
Shadow crusher also breaks stamina if you time it slightly earlier when getting attacked by a ultimate, I dont know if it works on power rush, but it works on all ki blast ultimates (I am almost certain)

Sudden Death Beam counters BOTH melee AND ki based moves. It can be set off intentionally and then countered/perfect blocked if you are fast enough.
Change The Future is really slow. I used to set it off with a burst kame or a death beam on purpose, just so I could recover first, and punish it.
Pressure sign, you already covered in the comments, it does react to all attacks.
You didn't cover Afterimage, or Phantom Fist, which are both counters, which may not have they're own damage, but they can lead to all kinds of damage afterwards. Even stamina break combos. That's absolutely worth mentioning.
Edit: I'm also very new to Xeno 2, and may not know of more of/have other counters like Flash Fist Crush, and Reverse Mabakusenko.
From what rhymestyle said we will get the new outfits from buying gifts from the tp medal shop and giving them to our mentors to get the outfits when that update goes live

When you use Super God Shock Flash it does more damage when you are locked of doing 2 hits instead of 3.

I personally do not use Shadow Crusher but there's one key thing you forgot about it and I am very upset that you forgot to mention it or you didn't know about it
It is the fact that shadow Crusher can counter Ki ultimates and break your opponent's stamina
If you can stop your opponent's Ki attack with it it will break your opponent's stamina but only if it's an ultimate attack
Shadow Crusher is counted as a heavy hit because the Kamehameha Goku fired at cooler when he flew through it was a super Kamehameha

One thing to keep in mind with sudden death beam would be that you could use it to avoid many ki based super and ultimates because you teleport behind your opponent. This allows you to punish them when they are done with their attack animation/invincibility frame.
Don't forget shadow crusher breaks ults and gives you immunity to dam when until your done with the counter

Rough ranger seems like it works best in team scenarios when reviving an ally.

I love rough ranger, I use it for my Diku Cac but it gets you so stuck and is very dangerous if the opponent knows what their doing
wait a sec, im confused - the damage values that you show us are with some points in ki skills (and for ssb gogeta strike), so then whats the point of even showing them if they are not the raw damage that the skill does, without any boosts? (Oh and ummmm you forgot counter burst and flash fist crush)
burst rush is literally a good counter to start a combo off of especially regular Kamehameha

Well I like to use God shock flash cause I always do close fight and super fast ability to counter basic attack, I believe most get annoyed by it
