Kudos to whoever nominated this for sinning. Tennants Xmas epis are so good that Matt’s are often forgotten. I watched this two days ago. As I created clouds of my own.
The Titanic captain didn't cancel the cello concerto because the cellists played on as the ship sank! Dont let this Dr. Who captain's failure to celebrate Christmas in adversity disrespect their legacy
2:34 The isomorphic reference is a callback to the Tom Baker serial _The Pyramids of Mars:_ he tells/bluffs Sutekh the TARDIS controls are isomorphic (they really aren't), so Sutekh spares him.
Here are all the audio outtake clips at the end: 1 (14:57): Star Trek: Voyager, "Tinker, Tenor, Doctor, Spy" (season 6, episode 4; UPN, 13th October 1999) 2 (15:03): Star Trek Generations (Paramount Pictures, 1994) 3 (15:08): Jaws (Universal Pictures, 1975) 4 (15:10): Ed, Edd n Eddy, "Nagged to Ed" (season 1, episode 1B; Cartoon Network, 4th January 1999) 5 (15:19): House of the Dragon, "The Heirs of the Dragon" (season 1, episode 1; HBO, 21st August 2022) 6 (15:23): Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2 (Warner Bros., 2011) 7 (15:35): AjQ2981’s ‘The Screaming Sheep (Original Upload)’ (UA-cam, 9th April 2012)
Lovely trip down memory lane watching this old Christmas episode and the Star Trek audio at the end. Though, the comment about controlling cattle's predators does still stand, because Humans are predators to cattle, and on ranches they don't just slaughter them instantly, so in a way they are controlling the predators.
2:32 It is entirely possible that fingerprints, like snowflakes, aren't actually unique, even though it has long been accepted that they are. But, even if they are, methods of examining fingerprints are imprecise enough that a print that is close could bypass such systems. So he isn't really wrong to say that there is no such thing as a system that only grants access to one person (especially since there exists the alternative to duplicate the parts necessary for access or, the more gruesome route, removing the part from the person, thereby granting a different person access).
4:56 I suspect for this its a matter of steps he'd need to take before anyone on that ship would be even *willing* to listen to him without further complications. Steps of which would require rewriting a level of history he would have already vowed *not* to do, something like that would likely be much too large scale. The Timelord victorious is a path he refuses to go down
1:10 "at the exact mid point (of the winter)" um no. Xmas is literally 4 days after the winter solstice, marking the BEGINNING of winter. To follow that definition of xmas, it would have to be first week of Feb or something
I have not watched this video yet. But if you do a joke about jumping the shark, which was massively predictable in 2010, you should remove all of the sins immediately!
3:20 "Roll commercials." Well, yeah, in countries that lack enough civilisation to let a drama play out without advertisements. You know, like the USA? It would be absolutely immoral - verging on communist! - to not sell crap during a single hour of seasonal entertainment! Christmas is the season of good will to all retailers who have a marketing budget, after all: that's the message we should take away from the gospels. Mary and Joseph would have had a much nicer experience if they had prebooked at Holiday Inn, earned reward points on AmEx and had KFC for dinner. ...
Genuinely interested in how big Doctor Who is in the USA as someone from the UK. We get a special pretty much every Christmas Day and it’s a big thing, majority of people watch it, is it the same in the US?
Stephen Moffatt always did rubbish Christmas episodes, although Matt Smith's final episode was alright I guess - Ncuti Gatwa's first episode wasn't great; the singing goblins were so cringey & the Doctor was useless not seeing them off straight away
Please sin The Lion Guard episode Return Of The Roar, Then sin The OA episode Chapter 1 Homecoming, Then sin My Little pony Friendship is Magic episode Friendship is Magic, Then sin Bojack Horseman episode Bojack Horseman: The Bojack Horseman Story Chapter 1
The Matt Smith sin removal made me smile.
The Michael Gambon sin removal... actually got me teary-eyed.
Well played, TVSins.
"It's just a bunch of wavy lines."
"Finally, a sin too big."
Kudos to whoever nominated this for sinning. Tennants Xmas epis are so good that Matt’s are often forgotten. I watched this two days ago. As I created clouds of my own.
So we have, Barty Crouch Jr., Dumbledore, and Ollivander in the Doctor Who universe, got it

6:30 Praising Chibnal's series mythos and canon ignoring _Timeless Child_ nonsense is a Major Sin.

One of the best Xmas episodes in the show

@1:00 - you know better; the Doctor is rarely in time
Can we get the Capaldi-era Husbands of River Song?
Honestly, what doctor does in this entire episode is a sin against the time itself
SIR Michael Gambone is ALWAYS a win.
I'm sorry I have to sin your statement about the Enterprise being Star wars how about 5 sins ding!
Mixing up Star trek and star wars: Ding

So, at a stretch, Valentine's Day?
This is one every fan’s top three Christmas Specials.
This is the last place I expected to hear the phrase "cello concerto" but I kinda love it.
Mufasa just got released. Please sin the lion guard return of the roar
The Doctor didn't go back to when the distress call first was sent cuz he knew he could not only save the ship but save a heart broken man as well
Nothings wrong. End of video
Disney doesn't own anything DW but the streaming rights, and even that's only in some countries. You were correct about the Tennant thing, though, LOL
Please do Everything Wrong With What If...? "What If...The Hulk Fought The Mech Avengers?"
The entire episode is whats wrong with that one
@@Eskay_The_Evil_Genius we all want to see Hulk and they gave us Godzilla I was seething seeing atomic breath coming out of Hulk's mouth
7:57 I love that reference, Cit. Needed😌
Disney provides funding now but has no creative control over Doctor Who!
I have not watched this video yet.

The joke is that he said the title of the episode.

It's a little more niche, at least for the early Classic Doctor Who, but the modern stuff got distributed pretty well.
6:26 why exactly would he not know that
He was the best Doctor!
13:30 And THAT is the exact reason I think this story stinks both as a Dr Who adventure and a Christmas Carol parody.
I love this special.
Timeline , hahaha
Yay

Oh hell nahhhh! Chibnall nearly killed the show, he’s the worst thing to happen since the hiatus
This isn’t a Chibnall episode it’s a Moffat episode
I'm guessing you missed everything from the Moffat run? Chibnall was Shakespeare by comparison.
@@TheMemeguy127 Play; 6:26 and on for context of the comment.
It was a funny joke though, lighten up my whovian friend
*gasp*
