here's how I started my apple ecosystem as a student with a little less budget
1. iPhone 11(2019)
2. AirPods 2nd Gen(2019)
3. M1 MacBook Air(2021)
4. iPad 9th Gen(2021)
5. AirPods Pro(2022)
6. Apple Watch Series 7(2022)
Absolutely worth every penny ive spent. the seamless switch from my iPhone to Mac or to the iPad makes it ever sweeter. would definitely recommend :)
Its really nice to be able to interoperate with different devices so seamlessly.
I think M1 MacBook Air was 2020
@@hunterbsmith I think that’s true it was with the m1 release November 2020 I think
@@hunterbsmith maybe he talking about when he build his ecosystem
@@heraldwekesa210 oh yeah could be
$ 3,606.00 not bad when my original 1984 Apple Macintosh computer cost me $2,500. With inflation, the 1984 Mac would've cost me $ 6,808.09 today ( 11/2/2022 ).
Wow! Perspective
Dang
You could probably sell it for 10k+ since it’s an historical item 😅
at 1984 2500 can buy 2 rolex datejust which worth now 20,000😅
This is a logical fallacy.
Even mobiles phones and cars were much costlier and a premium item at their beginning stage because of cost of production.
Technology has improved and for todays standard, $3606 is a premium price.
Although i must say, the price is justifiable.
I was just here for the logical fallacy.
Nothing more.
I’ve built two ecosystems over the years.
In college I worked off of a 2018 iPad Pro (11 inch) to write papers and had an iPhone 7 which I used with my 1st Generation AirPods.
Now, as a photographer/Videographer I use a 2020 M1 Mac Mini, and M1 Macbook Air to edit. I film and edit with my iPhone 12 Pro and 6th Generation iPad Mini. I use the Airpods Max for editing but I absolutely agree with you, the 2nd Generation AirPods Pro are incredible to use! Just upgraded to the Apple Watch 8 as well, love it!
⬆️⬆️⬆️ Hit me up
Do you work a lot with 4K video editing? I want to switch to apple but I’m not sure what I need as an freelance photo and video editor 4K.
@@jamesa8225 With Apple you’ll be able to use programs like Adobe Lightroom for photos, and Divinci Resolve, Luma Fusion, and Final Cut Pro X for video editing. Its seamless, and worth the investment for quality results.
Absolutely love my 14 MBP I got it from Best Buy for $1599 and never regretted my purchase. Such a good quality for even base level!!! Mag safe charging is phenomenal
till Jan 2022 I was Android/Windows user..Feb 2022 my first purchase in Apple Ecosystem was iPhone 13 and Airpods 3rd Gen, then after a month I purchased M1 Macbook Air (I wanted to use Final Cut Pro) and recently added Watch SE 2nd Gen..I totally love using these Apple products as I am having amazing experience.
Here's my apple ecosystem as of right now as a student! (newest to oldest additions)
1. iPhone 14 pro (replaced my oppo reno z)
2. iPad Pro 12.9" 2020 with Apple Pencil gen 2 (I use it it draw :) )
3. Macbook pro 13 inch 2020 (intel) I got it because at the time i really needed a new laptop and couldn't wait for the M1
4. Airpods Gen 1
My favourites are definitely my iPhone and iPad pro.
The 14 pro is insanely smooth for everything I do daily, especially compared to my previous phone and the iPhone 6s plus I used to have. I also love the dynamic island. The phone is also extremely bright and I have had no trouble reading it even on the sunniest of days.
My iPad Pro 4th gen is amazing for art. I love how smoothly the Apple Pencil glides on it and my experience with procreate from previously owning an iPad 6th gen makes the experience even better.
This took me about 3.5 years to accumulate and I'm quite proud of being able to save up and buy most of these products myself :)
You forgot to mention how much storage you have on each device and how much ram you have on your MacBook.
This year I made a few upgrades to my Apple ecosystem. So here goes:
1: iPhone 13 128gb (replaced iPhone 8 Plus)
2: IPad 9th gen 256gb ( replaced iPad 6th gen 128 gb)
3: MacBook Pro 15 2017 (hand me down)
4: apple watch series 7 45mm
5: AirPods gen 1 (probably next to be replaced, works well but battery is lacking)
Ive got literally the same thing except 2018 macbook and no watch, im rocking my grandpas non techie watch lol
Here is my current Apple Ecosystem:
-iPhone XR
-iPad Air 3rd Generation
-AirPods 2nd Generation
-Apple Watch SE 1st Generation
I’m happy & I love how everything syncs together. Not sure what I’ll get next but I’m forever team Apple!
Do you need all of that?
I use the apple ecosystem for uni and I gotta say it’s perfect!
Here’s what I’ve got so far:
- M1 MacBook Air
- iPhone 13 Pro
- AirPods Pro
- Apple Watch SE
None of these are my favourite since each device is fantastic at its own use, but the MacBook particularly has blown me away with performance and battery life, even when multitasking and connecting to external displays!!! 🎉
This video has made me realise what new Apple kit I’ve purchased this year!
My current ecosystem is:
iPhone 14 Pro - replaced my iPhone 12
MacBook Air M2 - replaced a 2014 MacBook Pro
Apple Watch Series 7 45mm
iPad mini 6th gen
That’s everything I’ve updated this year. Don’t want to think about what that has cost!!
I also have:
11 inch iPad Pro 2020
AirPods Pro 1st gen - will look at updating these next year
Dammit Tim, stop taking my money!!! 😂😂
Okay so I haven't upgraded much lately but here go my set up -
1. iPhone XS - got battery replaced this month for $50.
2. Macbook M1 Air got it while they were replacing the battery on the iPhone XS.
3. Apple Watch series 6 in 2020 so should be alright until 2025 I guess.
I don't think iPad or airpods are for me cause I usually like to experiment earphones and having a bigger screen isn't a need. So yeah, the above three products fit perfectly for my engineering and slice of life needs.
iPhone 12 Pro Max , iPad 9th gen, Apple Watch SE first gen, AirPods Pro 2 and no MacBook yet!
16" M1 max mbp, Apple watch ultra, iPhone 15 (USB-C), air pod pro 2's and m1 iPad air.
Always appreciate your videos!!
Apple ecosystem user here since 2011, and like many others, I started with an iPhone, and then acquired a MacBook. Currently use an iPhone 12 Pro, MBP 14”, and recently acquired iPad 9, which with discounts, purchased together with the Logitech Combo Touch for just over $400. What I can recommend is that unless you have a specific niche need for one, don’t overcapitalize on buying the most expensive iPad, as it’s a laptop complement, not a replacement. Put more of your money toward a MacBook instead of an iPad Pro, and buy the iPad later. An iPad is an incredibly versatile machine, but it still isn’t a laptop replacement. Either go for an iPad 9 like I did, or if you want more future proofing, then get an M1 iPad Air 5 with a storage upgrade, and a keyboard case. As far as iPhones go, try to get this year’s model, so it will run smoothly for more years of OS updates.
I would love to see how you use the ecosystem on your day to day. Everybody talks about the features, but not how to get the most of those gadgets. Just a suggestion, love your videos. Cheers!! 👏
My ecosystem:
Iphone 13 pro max 128gb
2017 MacBook pro 15" 512gb
Apple watch se 1st gen
Beats studio buds
I love all my products! The MacBook does absolutely everything I need from it, and the beats studio buds were like knock off airpods pro due to them still being made my apple and having nice integration with control center and battery percentage monitoring. I got them for $70 and love them. Knowing their shortcomings compared to airpods pro 2, and with how much I like them anyway, I will be pulling the trigger on airpods 2 when they are on a substantial sale.
Huge thanks to your channel for helping me get into the Apple Ecosystem!
Here's our family's gear:
2020:
My very first Mac, a late 2020 16GB MBP
2021:
iPhone 13 Pro for myself (I've used a hand-me-down iPhone 4 before)
iPhone 13 (Sister upgraded from her 1st gen SE)
iPad 9th Gen (Dad replaced his 1st gen iPad mini)
2022
MagSafe puck on discount
Series 8 GPS + Cell for myself
Black Magic Mouse and Polishing Cloth (50% off from a local authorized reseller)
Almost got a first gen Airpods Pro in September but ended up with a WF-1000XM4
Now my mom's looking into getting an 11 to replace her aging 7 Plus, hopefully her carrier still has it by the time her sim-only contract ends.
I'm running the base model M2 Air, iPad 9, iPhone 12 mini, Watch SE2. The phone is getting a little long in the tooth (and short on battery life), but I love the setup.
As a student I’m running iPhone 11 Pro Max, iPad Pro M1 11 inch, Mac Book Pro 14 base model, Apple Watch 7, AirPod 3 and Apple TV
⬆️⬆️⬆️ Hit me up.
I am a med student and this is my apple ecosystem:
1) iPhone 13 Pro Max
2) Apple Watch Series 7 stainless steel
3) iPad Pro 12.9 (2020) with Apple Pencil 2 and Magic Keyboard
4) AirPods Pro 2nd Gen
5) iMac 24’
I've started involved into Apple ecosystem in late July this year with iPhone 11 and iPad 9th gen..so far it's beyond than enough at least as a student like me🥰
Wow I remember when your channel had 10k subs and you were reviewing Sony apsc cameras, etc. So happy for you to be here now! That’s crazy, man congrats and hope you keep growing!
Current setup that I've acquired over the last 2 years under $3.3k that won't see any new upgrades for the next 4+ years hopefully as I'm getting broke haha
1. iPhone 13 Mini (Replaced 12 Mini that I lost hiking earlier this year, had XR and 6 Plus previously with trade-ins)
2. AirPods Pro (1st Gen)
3. MacBook Pro 14" (Replaced Late 2016 13 Pro TouchBar that just died from corrupt SSD/logic board after 6 years)
4. Mac Mini M1 (Free99 from Goodwill thrift)
5. iPad Air 4 (Traded in Air 2)
6. Apple Watch Series 3 GPS
7. Magic Trackpad 2
8. Apple Pencil 2 (Gifted)
Probably spent over $6k total between upgrades, repairs, and accessories over the past 10 years from when I got my first iPod Touch 5th Gen :)
I just joined the Apple ecosystem this year and already deep in it 😅. My list:
- Macbook Air 2021
- Iphone 13
- IPad 9th Gen
- Apple Watch Series 8
- Airpods Max
- Aipods Pro 2nd Gen
- Apple TV 4K (2021)
- Homepod mini
Work life and personal this has been a great ecosystem experience 🔥
Here’s how I’d do it:
iPhone- 13 Pro
Computer- M1 MacBook Air
iPad- Refurbished iPad Air 5
Headphones- AirPods Pro 2
Watch- Apple Watch SE 2
⬆️⬆️⬆️ Hit me up....
As a student my apple ecosystem is : ( without my parents money only mine )
Iphone 14 pro max
Apple watch series 7
airpods pro 2
Aipods Max
Macbook pro 16" and 16 ram
Ipad pro 2021 12.9"
Imac M1 blue
( looking to buy the homepod ) and what I need more to complete my ecosystem please?
Like these videos! My current setup: 14 Pro Max, Series 6 Watch, AirPods Pro 2, M1 MacBook Pro 13, M1 Pro MacBook Pro 16 & 2 Apple TV 4K’s
Current set up: iPhone12; iPad Air4; M1 Macbook Air; AirPods2; AirPods3 ; Apple Watch SE . I'm mainly an Android/PC user but find myself in the orchard quite a bit ;-)
I’m a final year languages student at university and here’s my current setup:
1. 2015 MacBook Pro 15-inch base model (gifted to me used)
2. 2021 iPhone 13 Pro - LOVE this, cannot recommend enough
3. 2020 11-inch iPad Pro with 2nd Gen. Apple Pencil - this is INVALUABLE
4. 2020 Apple Watch Series 6
5. AirPods Pro 1st Gen.
While I love my MBP, it’s just too heavy to carry to classes every day and the battery is threatening to die, so I am considering swapping it out soon for the base model M2 Air. I’m not a “Pro” user so I don’t need the ultra performance specs. Just great battery life, portability and new enough to not be immediately unsupported by Apple 😊
the price difference between the m2 and the 14' m1 pro is not that big. m1 air is the best value imo, 799. prices are from bestbuy/costco
⬆️⬆️⬆️ Hit me up.
Thankfully, I'm blessed to not ever have to worry about money as a college student because my family does well. My Apple ecosystem that I just completed is this:
1. 2020 iPhone 12 Pro (I'm upgrading to the iPhone 15 Pro for the usb-c charging port)
2. 2019 AirPods Pro 1st Gen (I'm getting the 2nd Gen soon)
3. 2021 M1 MacBook Pro 14 in.
4. 2022 iPad Pro 12.9 in.
I'm grateful for my parents for helping me build my Apple ecosystem. 👏🏼
Here's my Apple Ecosystem right now:
1. iPhone 13 Pro Max (2021)
2. AirPods Pro 1st Gen
3. Apple Watch Series 7 45mm
I'm a PC guy and never used mac in my life (I'm typing this on my G14 2021 which was recommended to me by this channel lol). Can't go anywhere without these 3 with me.
Include a 2020 iPad Pro and pencil, and we’re twins 😅
@@jayharris5086 I have never owned an ipad in my life. I bought my mom one that’s it lol. She uses it everyday which is nice
Recently really gotten into the Apple Ecosystem because of school.
Currently have
- iPhone 12
- iPad Air 4
- Macbook Pro 13in (M1)
- Airpods Pro 1st Gen
Both the iPad and Mac were bought due to school and have given me so much convenience despite being a Windows PC person.
Why because of school?
@@uchihasenpai5671 Yes, most of my courses and tests have been online so having both an iPad and Mac to create PDFs and send them has been really great
My ecosystem is build on my own with worked money and i m proud of it because i m a student
iPhone 12 mini
Airpods 3
Apple watch 4
MacBook pro 2015 13’ (1tb upgrade)
So right now my ecosystem is:
1. Beats Fit Pro - $170
2. Apple Watch 7 - $260
3. IPhone 13 256gb - $600
4. IPad Pro 11” 256gb - $1100
Next addition will be either a M1 Mac Mini 16gb or M1 MacBook Air 16gb. Which would you recommend since I already have an IPad for mobile use?
I don’t need to upgrade much for about 5 years besides the IPhone maybe
Also I’m a student, starting to edit videos, and mostly I got the IPad because I’m in real estate and it helps A LOT to have touchscreen capability.
I need the Mac for office use and editing.
depends if you need to move around much. if you’re fine with working at a desk all the time, save the money on the mac mini. if not, macbook air
⬆️⬆️⬆️ Hit me up.
Here's What I think would be the best value Ecosystem :
Iphone 13
Macbook Air M1 (probably 16GB for Future proofing)
Airpods Pro
The Apple Watch and Ipad are completely optional as there's nothing extra that they provide ,at least that's what I think.
Great Video though. Cheers!
Awesome t-shirt! Great content as always.
14 mbp almost always on sale for $1600 now. 13pm can be had mint used for $700. ipad air 4, better then ipad 10 in every way except landscape camera is $100 cheaper at walmart now for $349. I agree on the airpods 2 I would spend the extra to get them even if the APP1 are on sale for $170 right now (they were $160 last black friday)
14 mbp for $1600? Where 😮
Was tired of my S22 Ultra sapping battery 2-3 times a day. I bought a used 1TB 13PM in mint condition for $1,000. Which led to me buying an Apple Watch 7 45mm on sale for $305. Then I got a 16GB 256GB M1 Pro from Apples Refurbished Store for $1,106. Could not be happier.
Haven't had a computer in 12 years and am enjoying playing Half Life 2 and Portal using Crossover. It performs very well and the battery life for light consumption is ridiculous.
Im also using the Touch Bar far more than I thought I would.
The one holdout is the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro I got open box on Amazon for $45. They still work including Noise Cancellation and I can't justify replacing them yet.
I’m pretty happy with my setup.
iPhone 13 Pro
m2 MacBook Air (16gb 512ssd)
AirPods 2 (they fit my ears best)
iPad Air 4 (m1 version would be nice) + pencil
Apple Watch SE
⬆️⬆️⬆️ Hit me up...
MacBook Air M1, iPhone 12 Pro, iPad mini 6, Apple Watch Series 5, and Powerbeats Pro. Perfectly fine ecosystem.
For anyone looking to get the MacBook Pro 14-inch, I was able to snag a brand new base model on a deal from Best Buy for $1600 before tax. It's been my fav computer I've ever owned and they're running the same deal for Black Friday!
My current apple ecosystem as Content Video manager.
1. iPhone se (2020) - I like small cell phone.
2. iPad Pro (M1) - used mostly for illustration
3. Macbook pro 13' (M2) - office work and some video editing.
Loved the video!
My ecosystem which I started building in late 2021:
*iPad Air 4 + Apple Pencil
*Apple Watch Series 7
*Airpods 3rd Generation
*iPhone 13
*Apple TV HD
*MacBook Air M1
Not the latest devices, but they all work soooo well - especially in complementary with each other.
iPhone 12 mini and
m1 MacBook air for me!
1:25 iPhone SE: Hey man! I am here! Can you see me?
The smart Apple Ecosystem according to me for students (with the lower budget) :
1) iPhone 11
2) Macbook Air M1 (specs to match the needs)
3) iPad 9th gen
4) AirPods Pro (1st gen offers often deals)
⬆️⬆️⬆️ Hit me up....
iPhone 13 Pro Max, Mac Studio m1 ultra, Apple Watch Series 7, M1 12 inch iPad Pro , AirPods Pro 2
My 14inch MacBook Pro is a game changer. I use it all day, pretty much everyday. I have an iPad Air 5 I also use for school. I wear an Apple Watch series 7 and it does more than I even need. I have the 1st gen AirPods Pro, and they are great, but since I've been working from home, I don't really use them as much as I used to. I'd pick my MacBook probably over everything else, possibly even my phone.
Relatively new to the ecosystem. (Only the last few years)
1. iPhone 13 Pro
2. Apple Watch ultra
3. AirPods Pro 2
Looking into getting a MacBook but those prices are steep.
My great ecosystem:
- iPhone 13 - 128Gb
- Apple Watch Series 5
- Apple TV 4K
- HomePod Mini
- iPad 6th Gen with Apple Pencil 1
- MacBook Air M1
It’s just lovely functional.
I'm officially starting my Apple ecosystem this year as a college student. I've been loving it so far, and I'm not even done yet! The fact that things just work how I want with very little digging in the settings + anything that I would want to customize being easy to find and manipulate is so good for me.
1. iPhone 12 (2020)
2. AirPod Pros (1st gen) (2022)
3. M1 iPad Air (college purchase 2022)
4. Apple Pencil (2nd gen) (college purchase 2022)
Hopefully next semester I'll be able to add a MacBook to the mix, because I'm so sick of Windows 10. The extreme bloating in the OS combined with the functionality I know I'm missing out on, both with the computer itself and the integration with all my other devices, has fully convinced me to ditch my old HP (though it's definitely time for it to go anyways)
Depends what course you are, as an electronic engineer, the MacBook wouldn’t work for half my apps
@@hrishiv I 100% agree. I'm going into music education, so Apple computers do everything I need them to.
I wish i could dual boot macbooks. I have got a m2 macbook air because everyone was crazy about it, but a lot of simple tasks i could do on windows i cant do on macos. I love apple ecosystem but theres big trade offs
You should have gotten an Mac book over the iPad I made the same mistake when I first got into college too now I need a laptop for writing long papers and coding.
@@beatriceneville6262 As a music ed major, I really haven't been writing that many papers this year (I can think of maybe one from this semester, and it wasn't that long) and I also don't write any code.😂 I've been able to do all of my work so far off my iPad, and my current laptop can handle some small stuff just fine
My current eco system:
1: Macbook Pro 2015 2.2 and 2.9 ghz r9 (both getting obsolete)(next project)
2: Ipad pro 11 2021 M1 3rdGen, Just replaced an a12z!
3: Air pods pro 2nd gen (replaced the og pods)
4: Watch SE 2020 (replaced a series 3)
5: Iphone 11 pro (replaced Ip6s)
6: Iphone 13 Promax 256 (replaced a XsMax)
i came from the Android Ecosystem with Samsung products but made the shift by 2015 when i boight my first Macbook Pro.
being in the ecosystem of apple is definitely taxing one's finances LOL. i wouldnt want to shift to another anyway.
That Macbook Pro 14 inches M1 or M2 is on my next list because i cant fully utilize the ecosystem now without the new features coming from the mac..
2015 : iPod shuffle
2017 : iPhone SE
2018 : iPhone 8+
2019 : iPad Air
2019 : MacBook white ( 2nd hand )
2020 : MacBook 11 inch (2n hand )
2021 : Apple Watch SE
2021 : HomePod mini
2022 : Apple TV 4K
2022 : MacBook Pro 14 inch
Whole ecosystem experience is unmatchable. Even though I don’t like some of Apple decisions, still I couldn’t find a better ecosystem that satisfies me 😊
My setup
Iphone 11 (soon to upgrade to 14 pro max
Its on back order)
Apple watch series 3
Airpods gen 2
Ipad 32gb 7th gen
I wish I bought the bigger storage on my ipad but it works really well, I use to have a macbook air 2014 but switched last year for an asus g15 gaming laptop (absolute beast of a computer in a small package).
Best buy has had the MBP 14 on sale regularly for 1599 recently.
Where do you buy it?
i slowly switched to apple, but still kept my gaming/workstation windows pc.
-iPhone 12 Pro
-IPad Pro
-Macbook Pro m1 pro 10 core
-Airpods Pro
very happy with the combo!
Here’s what I’m working with.
iPhone 14 Pro Max (came from the Z fold 4)
Apple Watch Ultra (came from the galaxy watch 5 pro)
AirPod Pro 2nd generation
MacBook Pro late 2019 16 inch
Apple TV 4K 2022
Really enjoying this ecosystem and how smooth everything is tied together.
My current Apple ecosystem consists of: 1) Mac Mini M1 (just for casual stuff), 2) MacBook Air M2 (for heavy stuff and portability), 3) iPad Pro 11'' 2021 (my daily driver, reading & taking notes), 4) iPhone 13 (making calls on MacBook, Continuity, taking photos and airdropping), 4) Apple Watch 7 (Apple Pay, Calendar, ToDo).
Great video!
iPhone 13 pro, macbook air m1, apple watch se, airpods pro 2 for ANC or airpods 3 for the best sounding without ANC and if you like to listen to music or you like siri around the house, I would suggest a used original home pod as a speaker in 1 or 2 larger rooms of the house
My current ecosystem consists of:
MacBook Pro (2020)
iPad Pro (2019)
Apple Watch 7 (2021)
iPhone 12 Pro (2020) - Upgrading to the iPhone 15 Pro next year.
AirPods Pro 2nd Gen
I got the 14 pro max and the air pod pro 2s and yesterday just bought the 14inch M1 Pro on a Best Buy deal next is a series 8 watch I love apple products
Ive been slowly building up my own power user ecosystem:
1. iPhone 14 Pro Max
2. Airpods Pro 2
3. Apple Watch Ultra
4. iPad Pro m2 (11 inch)
5. m1 Pro Macbook Pro (16 inch)
6. Apple Tv 4k
All to watch youtube videos
Costco is running MBP 14 for $1599 right now… even with owning a M1 MBA I want to pull the trigger because it’s such a great deal.
⬆️⬆️⬆️ Hit me up
I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max that I still love to use. I’d either get the 14 inch MacBook Pro with the M1 Pro and if I want to use it for a desktop set up I’d just connect it to a monitor. I could splurge a bit more and go for a dedicated desktop setup with the Mac mini.
My gear:
1: iPhone 13 pro 1tb
2: Apple watch 6 sport gps for gym and working offshore
3: AirPods Pro
4: iPad pro 2021 12.9" 128gb wifi
5: MacBook pro m1 16gb 512gb
6: iMac M1 base model at home
7: Apple watch 5 stainless steel at home
Hey. Great video and by the way, what microphone are you using in this video? Sounds good.
My current Apple ecosystem:
iPhone 13
Macbook Air M1 (512GB SSD, 16GB RAM)
Airpods gen 2 (well, one left airpod, my right one is physically damaged beyond repair)
iPad mini 2 (looking to upgrade VERY soon, probably to a new mini or a new air)
iPhone 13 mini
iPad Pro 11”
Apple Watch SE2
AirPods Pro
Really happy with it, meets all my needs perfectly

Just bought the iphone 14 pro max and airpods pro 2. Immediately became a fanboy. Hopefully I'll get more into the apple ecosystem in the future
You must have the best stylist in the world: awesome shirt again!
I just completed my ecosystem. I have had a 6th gen iPad that I still have I got an apple watch SE for Christmas last year I got a 13 pro max this year in April and just got an M1 MacBook Pro 13 inch to complete it.
My current ecosystem:
iPhone 13 Pro
M1 MacBook Pro 13"
Apple Watch SE 1st gen
iPad 8th gen
AirPod Pro gen 2
Eventually I want to get a new iPad (either a Pro or and Air) and an iMac too.
Excellent video
well I just upgraded my ecosystem in full so here we go:
iPhone 13 128Gb (2021)
Airpods 3rd gen (2021)
Ipad air 5th gen (2021)
MacBook pro 13 2017 - Upgrading to 2021 M1 Pro Macbook 2021 14in (purchased black Friday)
Apple watch 6th Gen (Purchased used 2022)
prior to 2021 i was using all items from 2017/2018 so it was time for upgrade
I’m thinking to get the new iPhone 15 Pro Max or Ultra and the series 9 watch when it comes out and I have a iPad Air 5th Gen and AirPod Pros. And I think that will the the best ecosystem for me.
M1 Macbook Air $800
10.2 Base iPad $250
IPhone 14 Pro $999
AirPods 2nd Gen/ Beats Studio $100 with ANC or Gen1 Airpods Pro $160.
Apple watch SE $220
Total $2,370.
This is assuming your workflow only requires word processing and productivity apps very lite video and photo editing. And that your iPad is primarily for media consumption/ conferencing maybe light on the go word processing.
Alternatively you could get an M1 IPad Pro for about $800 and replace the laptop and iPad.
My Apple Ecosystem today are as follows:
- iPhone 13 Pro Max
- M1 Macbook Pro 14” (from M1 Air)
- Airpods 3
- Apple Watch Series 7
Last year 2021 was an all out upgrade year for me as college student. Although that Best Buy sale last month was so good that I sold my M1 Air and bought the M1 MacBook Pro 14”. The Apple purchase I’ve ever made to this day!
My current apple ecosystem:
iPhone 11
iPad 7th gen
Apple Watch SE 1st gen
Air pods 2nd gen
HomePod mini
Don’t have a laptop Becus I don’t need one but if I do end up needing one I’ll go for the M1 MacBook Air.
heres my apple ecosystem as a college student
iphone 12 pro max 256gb- $729
Ipad pro 12.9 m1 2021 256gb, with magic keyboard and apple pencil - $1349

⬆️⬆️⬆️ Hit me up....
Hey every day dad do you think that apple care + should cover lost and stolen airpods?
⬆️⬆️⬆️ Hit me up
I’ve got an iPhone 11, MacBook Air m2, iPad mini 5, Apple Watch SE 1, and I recently got the AirPods Pro 2, which are my favorite headphones ever!
⬆️⬆️⬆️ Hit me up...
my ecosystem:
(a student)
M2 macbook air
Ipad pro 2nd generation (A12Z)
iphone 12
airpods pro 1
apple watch series-3
i dont have all apple stuff but this what i have apple watch se 2 , normal airpods , iphone 11 and a msi raider
I got the base m2 air to complete the apple ecosystem a few months ago. I really wish I would have gotten the M1 Pro. I didn’t know how annoying 8gb of ram is.
⬆️⬆️⬆️ Hit me up
I’m rocking:
M1 Air
Iphone 14 pro max
AirPod pros
iPad Pro 2018
But still use a PC for gaming
I got my first-ever iPhone in 2016, thanks to my dad! But then, this year (2022), I bought everything by using on-campus job money to begin the ecosystem.
1. iPhone 7 Plus (2016)
2. M1 MacBook Air (January 2022)
3. Apple AirPods Pro (1st Generation May 2022)
4. iPhone 14 Pro Max (September 2022)
⬆️⬆️⬆️ Hit me up
My current Apple Ecosystem:
iPhone XR (will wait for the first USB C iPhone which is hopefully going to be the iPhone 15)
iPad Air 4 + Apple Pen 2 (really nice for taking notes as a student)
MacBook Pro 14 (got it last week as I needed a Laptop for computer science with a bit more power)
AirPod 1 Gen. (doing the job, at first I did not want to get them but they are awesome, especially if you want to change between Apple devices)
Kinda funny that I was strictly against Apple products a few years ago..
The old iPhone XR from my cousin and switching my notes from analog to digital basically made me pick up all the Apple products
