She did some roles with negative shades in hindi and english movies. The true color of her evil characters were always a suprise for lots of her fan. She played so well the roles of main antagonists.

She doesnt have the angled cheekbones, the fangs and the horns to make the look credible..this just looks like a glamourised and subtle evil look..I guess Aishwarya is just too attached to her label of beautiful to have agreed for the cheekbones and fangs look...I am sure the make up artists must have thought of recreating those aspects of the look as well and not just the green eyes

After this, I would definitely watch a movie with Aish as the Maleficent.
The point is not to like maleficent and Angelina is the perfect one in reality and in films where she doesn't give that warm vibe. Or if you take Helena Bonham Carter and she can make any evil character work. Aishwarya is likeable and ethereal which again she is good at and her voice is nothing like angelina where it's haunting. Angelina is an ok actress herself but when she finds a character like this it's almost maleficent is Angelina Jolie.
It's just showing that she is doing a voice over.
