edit: think it may be like a strand side strafe/air dodge cus it creates an explosion at the start of the "icarus dash" then at the end of it there is a a ball of strand matter that appears under the hunter

They can't. They have their one equipped grenade, and then the one you get when transcendence is full

Read the twabs explaining prismatic… it’s not gonna be as crazy as it looks just watching Bungie produced clips. There’s some major Bungie balance going on with what aspects and abilities you can use in the new sub. I think they plan on adding things in over time tho.
I fear crucible will ruin Prismatic just like how it ruined Stasis during the BL year 😔 unless Bungie keeps the nerfs separate from PvE
They spent years nerfing abilities and ability re-gen - I just don't buy what they're showing us. I just hope they don't ruin the other sub-classes because of it. I agree - if they try to balance this with PVP too then it's going to be horrible.

I think we're long past catches lol, bungie has been screwing us over for years, now they've realised they're about to die and making the right decisions. They've made the entire year of content free, whilst also making all the expansions which still have stories free

titan gets a kill with a new shotgun and procs a weapon perk called Threat Remover above the super bar? Also that shotgun has the same heart designs on it as the Support healing auto rifle. My assumption is the heart pattern weapons are the planetary weapons. Like Arctic haze and coriolis effect are for europa, or Empirical evidence and red herring are for the throne world. Would fit in line with the "Suits in a deck of cards" theme with cayde being spades and these weapons being hearts.
Also cant help but notice that the debuffs are no longer on the right side of the screen / under the HP/shield bar. Hope that isnt true on launch, they need to be seperated.
They mentioned their reasoning behind the placement of the HUD icons in a previous TWID on their website.
Actually, it's funny you mention the suits relating to weapons. Cayde actually had a system for which weapons corresponded with specific suits, he explains this in the Cayde's Stash mission of the Taken King.
Spades = Hakke
Clubs = Crux/Lomar
Diamonds = Omolon
Hearts = "For this girl I knew"
Hoping this system actually stays consist in the Final Shape 🙏(Although I'm not sure how Crux/Lomar are supposed to be the ones making that sword...considering they only make Rocket Launchers...)

I think you can now see your teammates health in the guardian rank circle. That will be useful in some cases (especially in comp).

1:13 thrown arc-bolt grenade provided some transcendence energy (so grenades with multiple hits, like swarm, pulse and vortex might be a really transcendence generators)
4:40 thrown threaded spike melee whilst in transcendence provides a small bump of energy whilst in transcendence
5:57 armor charge increase from ascension (could be powerful attraction but otherwise free armor charge?)
7:38 incinerator snap whilst in transcendence provides a big bump of transcendence energy (possibly indicating you get energy back for hits & kills)
7:41 forerunner kills grant a small bump of transcendence energy (if it's not facet of grace then facet of grace could potentially make kinetics more viable than elementals)

idk if anyone else noticed this it seems like you can finally see your allies health (mainly in the pvp clips). There is a white meter that goes around their guardian rank which displays their hp
Hopefully frost armour is grants oncreased ability regen instead of dr the dr would be nice but we have a lot of sources of that now with woven mail, resilence and overshield
A while ago I had an idea for an exotic sword to pretty much do the hunter super attack as a heavy attack for the sword. I guess I’ll have to settle with that. Worldline zero was close, but would be cool if they doubled the teleport range of Worldline zero though.
hunter was running heart of inmost light and the exotic that gives you woven mail when using your grapple which is your grenade in this case
Around 4:30 when the gameplay of the nightfall starts, there is an enemy at the top of the screen who looks like they are channeling taken energy, so maybe the Witness is trying to take another Ahamkara we don't know about
I think we’re overlooking if you’re even going to be able to get transcendence in a mode like trials… you gotta really be slaying out with both light and dark abilities and weapons
the titan is also using spirit of point contact cannon brace if you see him using the strand melees
Based off the hunter video. It looks like we’ll be getting anti-barrier pulse and unstoppable sidearm as part of the new artifact mods for Final shape. Also there’s a new void auto rifle that the hunter is using

The first hunter was running a exotic class item with the spirit of HOIl and Cytarachnes Facade
Void hunter with spirit of Foetracer and spirit of gyrfalcons will be a lethal combo. Buffed void weapon damage plus volatile rounds.
the taken eyes are orange / yellow, normally they are white? maybe they are upgraded too with the whole resonance thing
That solar buddy didn’t look like it hit hardly anything and when it did it barely did any damage
The entire showcase looked super lack luster. So far, all I get from prismatic is flashy and fun, but not actually good in any meaningful content.

i was looking at some lore vids a while back and was thinking about the witness and his final shape, i think he is trying to do what they tried before his people were all fused together they brought the veil to the traveler but it didnt like that so now that the people are one the witness wants to merge the veil with the traveler, thats the whole reason we are getting dark and light mixed abilities, the final shape is literally the fusion of the origins of the light and darkness subclasses so this new entity from the traveler and the veil mixed together could be the next big bad guy that trumps the witness in every way
You didn't notice it, but the warlock created a Stasis Shard even though their Prismatic Kit doesn't include the Aspect. Hopefully this means that the reworks to those aspects involve shifting Shard generation to the fragments or base kit.

Transcendence look powerful against champions as you are activating multiple class verbs at a time. Im just wondering how the exoctics with intrinsic champion mods will handle possibly having three states constantly in flux with the abilities used. Intrinsic weapons might be a bad choice moving forward. Also noticed anti barrier shotgun and specials are not normally in the first row of the barrier perks. So likely some other shotgun perks in the artifact as well
The range and duration of the new hunter arc super is amazing
The anti barrier could be radiant or other subclass based anti barrier too

That hunter definitely did some sort of dash, but it looked like it sent him quite a bit further than a typical Icarus Dash, so that has to be something new
I’m sad because I wanted spirit of Sunbracers and Karnstein to be an immediate thing..They could be the same column, but I had a build ready for that…it still might work but not as effective.
Heart of Inmost Light perk looking at all the other exotic combination perks, making the whole map into the floor is lava.
As a hunter main I would like a spirit of Orpheus, and spirit of Gryfalcons, with tether, threaded spike, and solar grenade, with gamblers dodge. We just fixed void hunter
Syntho plus heart of inmost light and star eater plus shards will be all I’m hunting for titan
Pvp is going to be wild holy, also the titan had tangle cool down on that last bit of the pvp gameplay

Prismatic and the Exotic class items is gonna elevate this game to a place I never thought we'd see. This is the evolution that this game needs.
can you make a guide for f2p on what and how they should prioritize the free content until final shape? me and a few friends came back to destiny but we dont know where to start and what is the most efficient progression before the final shape.

The best guide is to not touch the game at all, lol. Seriously, the majority of content for beginners is boring trash, and when u do end up in the endgame, the only thing u'll realise is actually fun to play are the raids and dungeons Everything else is pointless and boring af to run.

Here's the main question I have for PvP... Is your transcendence progress reset every time you die in the name of "balance" (meaning top players in the lobby are the only ones who will activate it), or does it persist so that everyone can play (Bungie inclusivity lol)?

Ultimate melee combo will be strand melee, inmost light/ synthocep class exotic with ability energy returning weapons (travelers chosen?) Mmmmm can't wait.
The throwing shield looks like it got buffed a bit I think
Small thing i noticed: they 100% are changing the rock or transcendence overrides the rock because he threw 2 grenades after activating it but before throwing the rock. Currently it replaces your grenade until you throw it.
Correction: i watched ot again transcendence overrides the rock. So no rock during transcendence.
no mention of threat detector getting its own stats for all to its one for all in threat remover?
I'm gonna be honest I don't like that the transcendence grenades are tied to classes. It would be cooler if they were based off of the abilities you had equipped, for example regardless of class if you have a solar and stasis ability equipped (not counting class abilities) then you'd get the solar/stasis vortex grenade. This would also allow us to mix with our light subclasses even further. Imagine a grenade that blinds people then suppresses them. Or a grenade that suspends them and freezes them. There's a lot of potential with this subclass and it could be a lot more fun than it already is.
Hopefully the light and dark meters reset or at least decrease if you die to reduce the prevalence of transcendence in PvP.
Shotgun seemed to be Ace Of Spades themed.

I really prefer the ability spam with the health bumps weve got, ppl have to use them in tandem w their weapons (which is annoying af but skill issue ig) and the gunplay feels the best it has in a long time. The only downside is the teamshooting but thats another topic entirely
