When my parents were young (now would be 95 ) Dad went up north (Desert of Western Australia for work. ) They found a couple of medicine bottle and two old ink bottles fully in tact. I still have them to this day and they are just beautiful amazing shapes and colours one is like a lilac colour the other pale blues. The history of the past is very cool. Love Leisa xx

My now 25yr old used to be terrified of baths and running water. I tried to make it fun and started letting him pick food coloring colors. He learned what colors mixed well or would try to keep is half one Color and half another as long as he could. It made it so fun for his other toys and stuff. I wish I had thought of using glow sticks also. Couple drops would make the lights look super cool, you should try it lol. Love you ❤.

I believe the bottle that you found was brown or amber glass. Amber glass was very practical and purposeful between the 16th and 19th centuries. It was often used by chemists and pharmacists to store liquids that were sensitive to light. Sometimes, you can tell the history by any raised designs or seams on the amber glass bottles, which could indicate production during the Great Depression era. shards that feature hand-tooled lips are associated with bottles produced between 1870 and 1910. Sooo cool! :D

Omg I have just started watching the tv show stalker. I have to keep telling myself that it’s Erik and he is Colleen’s husband and Flynn, Wesley and Maisie’s dad. He is such a good actor that it keeps creeping me out that it’s an actor that we “know” more than most others.
I noticed the glass too and just thought maybe you grabbed it but I didn't see it in the sea glass reveal. It looked beautiful, must be very upsetting
Eric’s excitement is adorable. We have a beach in New Jersey that is on the Hudson River that is littered with Seaglass. You have to take a little hike to get there, but it is an amazing fun thing to do but it is not very difficult. There’s part of me that wants to hit the beach and look for Seaglass. As soon as I get a chance, I am absolutely going to do that. Thank you both!

Seaglass hunting is such a fun hobby, you’re finding cool things on the beach and also removing “trash” or man made things that don’t belong in the ocean, therefore you’re helping the creatures and their habitat. I love that you found your first marbles they are my fav to find. I’m gona go check my glass now for uranium! Also you get out in the sun and breath the fresh air and it’s also a lot of exercise walking and hiking around beaches hunting for things. So glad Eric shares that passion with you for hunting on the beaches for treasure!
Yes you may have missed the glass. That just means the universe had you miss it so that someone can walk down the beach one day and find that little sparkle of hope that they needed in that moment. Just like you had with your first rock. 🥰

You have the best beaches!! My favorite shell I got is from San Diego I keep it on top of my fridge! My close beaches only have broken clam shells and trash sadly 😂I’m with you on being scared to go to the beach at night!!! I mean I’m sure it will be fine you can do it !! Maybe wear a life vest and go to an area you know really well? It would be fun to use the black light and search!! Good luck!
I wish so badly I lived by beaches like you so I could go rock hunting but unfortunately where I live the only rocks I could find are “backyard rocks”. Also, I love you and everything you do please just try to remind yourself when you are doing things you think people will find “boring” that if there even is someone like that they can always skip it but I love it all! I love when you talk about taylor and your rocks and etc. I hope that you see this because I truly love you so much and hope you realize we all do and if we didn’t we wouldn’t be watching! ❤❤❤❤❤

My friends used to have a display table just like that. They asked me what I thought. One of the rocks were inside of it, so, being the. COMPLETE DORK that I am, and to my friends, horror, I proceeded to bite down on one of the rocks, when they screamed out, “ That’s my gallstone!“ Needless to say, I’m a little bit triggered by that coffee table Colleen

For the 152 blue rock: You should go back to the same area and look back at the raw video before the editing and see if it's nearby. It might be a waste of time for that specific piece but on that note, why not go to beach anyway and maybe find something new :)

You should make a rock garden.
They have non-woven landscape fabrics to supress weeds and you can make it whatever size and configuration. They have a wikipedia about them. Can make it a zen garden with the glass in the center and different colored rocks fanning out from there. Maybe a bench and a water fountain.
Sounds like a cool idea to show off your rocks, because why not.

TORTILLA TALK QUESTION?? how has your dermatillamania doing ? just wondering as someone who also suffers from Dermatillamania And Tricotillomania With a little adivce that helped me alot so thought it may help you as well. This May seem odd but give it a try for a bit i promise after a bit it does help eleviate some symptoms. by applying alot of childrens elmers glue on the effected areas letting it dry and picking the glue off the effected area. it mimics the skin picking and tricks your mind into thinking you are picking it without having the pain and scars left over afterwards. you can do this as often or as much as you feel comfortable and doing it slowly gives you more to pick at without the shame and guilt afterwards. I Hope this helps you it was told to me by my therapist as a mind trick and really helped . i wish you and your lovely family all the best god bless
Ok so I’m scared of the dark too. Oh my goodness. Since I’ve been a kid. Terrified to take the trash out at night or check the mail or find the bathroom at the early morning wakeups. We leave the tv on and have like a night light in the hallway. This is also coming from a true crime junkie.

I LOVE your rock "coffee table"! And this is just my opinion, but if I had a rock table (and I would love to!), I vision the rocks being displayed without those dividers. Just a big pile of beautiful, different colored rocks that I could run my fingers through and change the colorful layout with one swipe through those shiny beauties! Can you picture it? I understand if you want to keep them separated, but it looks kinda boring......😂😂😂😂😂love you Colleen!!

It's so interesting to see what u find on the West Coast. I'd LOVE to see you come to the East Coast and see what u find. I've found marbles on Maines' hidden beaches many times. It's so cool to see them found in the West Coast too

Colleen - I live on long island and I went looking for sea glass because you and Erik inspired me. Unfortunately I did not find any but also I went to a harbor beach and not the ocean. It's a really rocky beach so I had high hopes. I honestly felt like I was doing it wrong though. So my question is how do you find sea glass? I know its called "beach combing" so do you literally have to like... comb? or do you kind of just walk and look at the ground? whats your process
I can say, I am not doing that. I live on the east coast and 3+ hours from the beach.

Erik we are on board 😂 unfortunately I live on the gulf coast and most of my beach is covered in pieces of broken roadway from hurricanes 🙃 and shells....broken shells. Lol I'm so jealous yall have sea glass and pretty rocks!
You could let kids turn the rocks into pavers(stepping stones) using pie pans and mix and pour concrete. Good way to make use of them and get to see them out on paths
