The turtle taking over the world...the RES slider.

Hello and welcome to Taiwan video number 2. In this video we see RES and native turtles in a city park eating the same vegetation along the bank. The RES is one of the top 100 invasive species in the world and they can have negative impacts on native turtle species. We observed more RES in Taipei city than the native M. sinensis. Hopefully, the native species are doing better in the less urban areas.
