CORRECTION: Echeveria Onslow on the last part of the video is actually an Echeveria Silhouette. Thanks for watching.

Loved the visit to the garden centre. Pedro was showing off today for his young friend. The cinamon scroll, the rains and the beautiful succulents.. absolutely perfect. The onslow is awesome. I dnt think i have seen onslow that big. Wld love to see it in detail sometime in a future vdo.

The Onslow is not an Onslow. My Onslow is slightly bigger than these ones. Sorry about that Swati. It's actually a Silhouette. They look so similar that it can be confusing. I will do a comparison video. Thanks for watching.

Hello Liz, your beautiful bird's green coloring looks like peridot, and the small blue looks like kyanite( gemstones). When he was not feeling, I got sick😢, happy he's all better. The plant that's got my eye is an E. Chanell, I just got it, along with a ton of leaves to propergate. I'm so excited. Chat soon, loved the video, great job!

Do y have a video on fertilizing?
Heard you say something about soaking babies in something & can’t rem which video & what it was. I have somehow ended up w hundreds of propagations 😅 And want something to help w transplant shock.
I get cheap plants from big stores & try to rescue them.

Succulents don't need much fertilizer if you already have fertilizer in the soil. New plants need to be acclimated to a new place before transplanting. I usually leave potted plants in a quarantine zone for at least a week before transplanting to lessen the shock. Video link below for...

Hi Liz, do you get temps to 47C? Im in zone 9 now and we get three months of three digit temps F in the summer. I am hoping succulents will thrive out of direct sun during the summer months if I keep them under cover. What do you think?

42°C is the max my plants have experienced. Plants can be grown anywhere but you'll have to create a suitable micro climate for them. Succulents I find can adapt to their environment but needs time to get use to it. A 50% UV shade cloth area will be an ideal spot to keep succulents. You can always provide a temporary covering for them until they get used to your climate.
