- Today is day two of the Rodney Cook Memorial Rally I recently attended with the guys from Garrett Metal Detectors in England. It was a three-day event and I had a great time meeting new friends and hanging out with guys and gals I hadn't seen a years. Please join me on this continuing adventure.
About Aquachigger:
I enjoy metal detecting for historical items like gold coins, relics, silver coins, and other buried treasures. I also metal detect for gold and silver nuggets and even meteorites. I like to make videos that promote my choice of lifestyle that includes outdoor adventure,
metal detecting, yapping, searching for river treasure, SCUBA diving, exploring abandoned places, hiking, caving, caring for animals and pets, and observing the things outdoors that often go unnoticed by most people who are not familiar with outdoor adventures and nature. I keep my UA-cam "Aquachigger" channel family-friendly and hope you subscribe if you like my style.
BTW, you can also catch me here, / chiggsarmy ,but I may get a little edgier there. FB isn't a place for kids anyway...lol.

I’d say that 1582 coin is worth no telling how much. Wow I’m waiting on cooler weather before I start detecting my wife got me a detector for my birthday this year I love that woman or Angel so much we’ve been married for 31 years last may
There were some really good finds found at RCM, Chigg! Congrats to Miguel on his awesome hammered silver!❤
Thanks for taking us with you on a big trip.
Wow on all the treasure hunters. Some interesting finds. Good to see DD out there, too.
Nice crowd, decent finds, and fun to see how much they enjoy our "Chigg" on the other side of the pond. The 1582 coin was special. Thanks as always for more "Happy Hour" entertainment.
Nice Chigg. I liked the explanation about our public footpaths. I hope in the next video you find a bucket lister.👍👍
Great Video, Thanks Chigg.
Good evening from Syracuse NY USA brother and everyone else
Chig! lol! I always said "It beats a poke in the eye with a sharp stick"
I dug a cut piece of that coin Miguel found in King George Virginia 🤯
Great video as usual ❤❤❤
Great hunt! 💪💥💯
What a sea-of-humanity!! HOLY SMOKES CHIGG!!!!
Yeah, I think there were 1200 people more or less.
Wow!@@aquachigger
So happy you had such a good time in my country, I hope you will come back again 👍😎
Beautiful country, looks like you are having great fun. Nice 1582 hammered coin. Best of luck to you.👍
Depending where in the country you are, a lot of the bullet cases you find may be because the standard UK WWII Aircraft weaponry for many years was 0.303" and the first thing you did, after take off, as soon as safe, was clear guns: ie. fire a short burst (my father was RAF Aircrew AG/Sigs)
Just look at all the people enjoying MDing!! Thanks Chig for showing us!! Incredible! Hope everyone finds a treasure this week! Rk.
Love the UK! Went over for a visit several years ago, and ended up staying two years. Sooo much history.
Thank you brother 🤝🏻🙏🏻
Wow, an Elizabeth hammered silver. Way to go Miguel! The last Tudor monarch.
Most EXCELLENT! And welcome to England!
Looks like incredible fun! Have a blast Chigg!!! 🤓🤓🤓
I'm watching youtube more and more on the t.v. and don't always remember to get on the computer to hit the like button. These are fun videos.
Thanks. Every little "like" and comment helps. I appreciate it.
A stream od salmon hahaha, im gutted we couldnt make this event, looks like there was some amazing things come up.
Hopefully next time.
Blimey, I bet that’s a blast!
Hey Chigg so earlier this week I was at a farm I have permission to hunt in New Jersey where I live and I found an old coin but it was so corroded I could not tell what it was. I cleaned it very carefully the next day to find out it is a coin from Denmark from 1771! I was so excited, my oldest and best find to date!!!
My favorite song after another great video
Lot's of Fun There's MOArrrrrr
Cool hunt thanks for sharing!!!!!
Howdy from Oklahoma 🤠 thanks Chigg!
Hello there!
The episode reminds me of the Detectorists series!
Fun times. Enjoy
The sunflowers are so beautiful! Europe has more shades of green than where i live in the US! 😊
Our green and pleasant land. But its changing FAST!
Looks like a lot of fun over there. Thanks for sharing the adventure.
I’ve got my fingers crossed for you Chig!
You’re so happy while hunting ))) good luck! 👍
Sir Tony , from time team did a series wandering those trails and track
ks some of them have some crazy history
See you soon GOD BLESS
Wow very cool!
Good video I really enjoyed it. 🇺🇸
Wow 1582, well done Miguel, its a beauty. And Wow, you met Digger Dawn, she is as famous as you are, plus her boyfriend Chris. Not sure how I missed this video coming out. I hope to get to the RCM next year and Detectival as well.
I just read a story about 2 Roman Calvary being found during a metal detecting/detectors rally in Cotswold England.
Awesome
Yay -- Digger Dawn!!!
Awesome video. Thanks for sharing, Chigg.
Fantastic
nice to see digger dawn
Nice hunt .. swarm of flies too
That 1582 Silver is Spectacular !!! Wonder what the value is ?
Beau is such an awesome & likeable guy that he could make a video about something as boring as crochete & still be fun to watch.
Great video mate love the content 👍
9:20….Aaah, Where did you take a nap ? 😂
Watching metal detecting done in the UK is so wild compared to the US. Over there, a few inches down, and you've got the possibility a Roman or Medieval silver coin. Here in Ohio, I'm ecstatic if I find a pre-1964 coin or a rare beer can or hunk of bloomery iron. Found a pair of my granddad's tin snips that my uncles lost in 1965 (they left them on the back of the tractor before granddad went to plow the garden), almost a foot down.
Ahhh! You was with my dear Dawn. That alone made the Video. Pity you never found a hammered olde chap.
We got to hang out together much more on the trip and I find some hammered along the way.
Hey Chigg and the bunch with you
Aloha Chigg, another CT day. Great silver find. 1582! The countryside looks manicured and beautiful. How large is the average farm? About 160 acres.
I think much larger than that. I don't know for sure though.
@@aquachigger What is the average size of a UK farm?
(Sourced from Defra Aggregate agricultural accounts). In the North West the average farm size in 2021 was 71 hectares. This is smaller than the English average of 85 hectares. May 17, 2023 hectare = 2.41075 acres. x 85= 204.914 acres. You're correct! In U.S. its 445 acres.
May Not Have Got A Coin Like That But You Did Get To Look At It And Hold It. 😎👍✌🍺
Good afternoon from Southeast South Dakota
So much laughter & frivolity! Is that trolly on the way to the Pub or coming back?
Could be either really.... they are a fun bunch of guys.
@@aquachigger It sounded like a smashing time was had by all🍺
It would have been hilarious if, when they were all in a crowd getting instructions , you would have been waving your detector around in the crowd, turned off of course, lol.
yay digger dawn
Who's that guy that said he found gold at the end? I've seen him before, but my mind is drawing a blank!
11:17 I hope the swarm above your head weren’t mosquitoes 😆
They were Chigg's Army of blowflies.
Hi digger dawn!!
How about a spot of Tea ole Boy!🤣
808th like, look like super fun, chigg
How many ounces of mushrooms were done in that bus?
Roundness in the hole baby lol
First hope you have a good weekend
You too!
👍👍👍⭐️
Any chance those .303 brass casings could be from the Battle of Britain? Any links? Both the early Spitfire and Hurricane mounted eight .303 Browning MGs.
I think so but it's a hard theory to convince the diggers (and historians) over there of that theory. All of the bullets are FMJ (military) and show little or no signs of hard impact. They fell and impacted the ground at or near terminal velocity which is very slow and thus did not deform.
Chigg you need to find that British guy, I don’t know his name but he looks like a bodybuilder. That guy finds nothing but Roman coins.
I know who you mean but I can't remember his name! I used to watch him often. If you ever remember please let me know. I remember that he had quite a lot of mental health difficulties so he may have even deleted his channel and moved on? I'll search through the people I'm subscribed to , to try to find him.
Edit: He's Harry from IDetect. He would always find hammered coins on every hunt!
@@hellooohowareudoing thanks looked him up he’s still around.
Anyone know an approximate value of that hammered coin? That was awesome!!

That buckle could be 1500s easily, then again it could be 1900s lol, but it's 1500s when we tell the story 😉😆
Another great video 🇬🇧 Does anyone know the name of the song please at the end of all the videos ?
I have, you have literally replied to it 😂
Hey, I had a sharp pencil in my eye 😢
The disappointment in his voice makes me feel bad for him.
Doesn’t that sweet British lady have her own channel?
Yes, that's Digger Dawn, she's fun to follow, been watching her for over 5 years
Nerd Fest 2023 😂
Where do you go if nature calls?
Nature.
Must be tough to identify stuff in another country.
Internet is slow today
Dr. Chiggles….
Chig, you shouldd make a hat that has leather on the brim. So instesd of wearing out your pants rubbing a coing, rub it in the hat. I guaratee you that real hunters will wear a hat full of dirt like a dadge!.
We have those trails across the country here too. We call them roads. How exactly do people in Maryland and Virginia get around without them?
those roads aren't public-owned though :)
Stop rubbing the coins so hard! You rub the detail off it!..just spray it with water and dab it then let it dry….it’s only copper so the metal oxidises and then you go and rub the top off it!?..
That's a fake coin come on!!!
come on brother ... get in the mix , start throwing elbows !!! 😆
Happy hunting
