What are other ways to work on both explicit and implicit memory other than the 2 explained?

Researching the answer on your own will help with holistic memory training.

I'm quite interested in the open meditative state, and how that impacts memory. A quiet state that allows information to be absorbed more easily because we have lowered resistance, and made space for new information. @@AnthonyMetivierMMM

That is an interesting area. I was speaking with my friend Ben the other day who prompted my adventures in The Victorious Mind. He said he's more and more convinced that auto/self-hypnosis is at the core of this. Interesting idea!

Watching videos is only part of the puzzle. Which specific steps have you put into action?

Applied but struck due to the vastness

The "vastness"? I'd suggest watching it again. In one of realities many cruel ironies, other people complain about it being too minimalistic to work. Just read the comments and you'll see.
Or spare the time, review the instructions and put the technique to work. If you can't memorize the incredibly minimal amount I suggest, then there is truly no reason to worry about applying these techniques to any higher number.
I look forward to a more measured assessment, as surely you must be referring to some other video tutorial or mixing mine up with something else.
