Honestly I came for the review to see about buying this for miniatures. End up coming out impressed with you skills and art work on display! Definitely subscribed and want to see more of your work!
Wow, thanks!
Mike As a Retired Military Veteran myself, I dearly love that painting sitting in the background you have painted of the "Battlefield Cross". Thanks for taking the time to paint such an item in order to honor our fallen veterans of which gave their all in the defense of our nation, our flag and our freedoms of which we so dearly have, love and enjoy. Keep up the great work. Also, thanks for sharing your great review of the Badger Patriot 105 airbrush.
Crazy I just got same gun about 2 weeks ago and love it
i just bought this airbrush to paint model tanks, and do the smaller camo lines. i was kinda worried it wouldn't spray fine enough for that but after watching you i think I'm gonna enjoy this! i had no idea you could do all that kinda stuff, like draw an eyeball with eyelashes! if it can do that I'm sure it'll work for camo! lol. awesome vid man!
Excellent review Mike, I have never owned a Badger and now the desire is so great ... I will see in the future to find this or some other model ...
Com certeza você gostará bastante dos produtos da marca.
I use the hollow Qtips with some cleaner for dry tip just stick it in the end and giver a quick spin and the needle lines up with the hole in the qtip so it don't get bent.
Excelente ferramenta Mike
My badger 105 came with greese on the threads too, so did my old extreme I had.
I got a Patriot 105 Extreme. First airbrush ever. Came assembled wrong, and my needle was totally jacked up, with stuff in the nozzle as well. Because it was my first one, I didn't really know what to expect. Took me months to figure this thing out. I wish it arrived correctly, and had a parts breakdown for correct assembly. I think it was a refurbished model.
seal lube for leaking. I like it's paint fan you can put loads down.
Mine just arrived, it also has a light grease on the threads.
Love my badgers, got the 105, 2020 sotar, 360 universal. Skull squad UK Repin 💀 Squad world wide
Awesome. Do you give private lessons? Thanks for sharing.
What compressor did you use for the gun?
How's the trigger action....is it fairly progressive with the paint volume.... I'm looking at purchasing the Patriot the Iwata Revolution HP CR or the Paasche Talon. For painting scale model car kits...1/24 or 1/25 mostly. What's your advice on these airbrushes.
Suggest the Iwata "Eclipse" please do research. The Revolution has a very small nozzle, 'grain of rice', where as the Patriot and Eclipse easier to clean, have bigger parts. Cannot speak for Paasche Talon
@@gordonenquist36 Honestly, in my humble opinion the Eclipse is far too expensive for what you actually get. Don't get me wrong, it's an excellent airbrush but pretty much any GSI Creos/Mr Hobby Procon boy under $150 is better than anything else on the market in that price point. And the Iwata Eclipse should be $125 max. The only thing missing in the Mr Hobby airbrushes is the "drop in" self-aligning nozzle. Aside from that; the build quality and performance of the Procon boy series is top notch!
I have one of these and can't get it to do what you demonstrated. What paint and thinning ratio did you use?
Probably just a victim of Badger quality.
A lot of manufacturers in the beginning manufacture a very high quality product for about 3 years to get a huge great following of satisfied cutomers. Then for the next few years their due to trying to conserve overall production costs their quality starts falling by the wayside, so they live upon their previous reputation of manufacturing quality products. Eventually when they discover they are again losing money in both customers and retail sales they once again start manufacturing quality products for the next 2 or 3 years. Sometimes they will even go so far as to manufacture a slightly different modified product of the same type under a different model number and name just to throw the unsuspecting consumer/customer off balance to make them think they are again getting a great high quality product. This has been proven time and again down through the years by both company's of which produce and put out consumer product reviews and also by customer satisfaction or dissatisfaction reports. Nothing new with that, it's been occuring again and again for the past hundred years or so. The only thing new each year and each time is the newer unknowing/unaware consumer/customer which in the end always gets stuck with being the guinea pig fall guy for the manufacturers continuous never-ending cost cutting mistakes to save a buck while increasing pocket profits. I'm also quite sure that the Airbrush manufacturers including Badger are not immune from doing the same thing by using the same cost cutting manufacturing strategy.
hi guys I'm a recent subscriber and new too airbrushing anyways hopefully can help me so I recently bought a iwata micron mc and of course dual action but when I press down on the single action, action for lack of better terms lol. paint comes out without pulling back on trigger, is it a seal issue? please help, it's brand new thanks much love
try reseating the needle. Its a problem at the nozzle and needle tip.
@@MikesBrush ok thank you I'll try that, I must of not properly put it back together after cleaning it. thanks again!
@@MikesBrush push needle all the Way forward
3:48 Looks like wax to seal the tip.
