Hey can you do an honest review on ATP? I am hearing now lots of negative comments and bad rep on ATP and I was really set on going there. They really just trying to take your money? How was the quality of learning material and student to instructor time?
Great input Luke, thanks for this video. Question, do you have a bachelors degree already? Also did you consider applying to any of the cadet programs that ATP is partnered with while you did your training?
@ that’s awesome! Last question, lol- With the SkyWest cadet programs, do you get paid CFI’ing at ATP along with the tuition reimbursement, or is it just the tuition reimbursement?
Eight months to become a Commercial Pilot... -It takes three years, 144 hours of class, and 1,500 hours per year to become a brick mason. -It takes 6,000 hours to become a journeyman plumber. -It takes a bachelor's degree, and about 5 years to become a credentialed commercial real estate appraiser (MAI). -It takes a bachelor's degree plus 150 hours (the equivalent to 3 more years of college), or the equivalent of 4 years of college and five more years of courses and internship to become a CPA. -It takes 6 to 12 months, or 1,000 hours to become a barber. -The typical police academy is six months. I hope my next commercial flight is piloted by a Navy, or Air Force veteran. Think about it...
@@JHank346 not sure if you watched the whole section that I explained. There's a difference between a commercial pilot and a commercial airline pilot. Commercial airline pilots have to have 1500 hours of flight experience which usually takes years of flying to accumulate. And commercial flights are operated by two qualified and trained pilots - hence why commercial aviation is extremely safe. Hopefully that clarifies. Thanks for watching!
