...I'm tired guys. ALSO: The shield Jun is holding is the one she found in season 3, NOT Hiccup's. The markings on it are that of a Mist Twister, not the Strike class symbol.

This show just makes me tired, hope you have a good day, and it takes the nine realms too long to make their season so we can experience joy for a bit longer

I wish we got a series about Grimmel instead of Nueve Realms. Or at least a series set inbetween the second and third movie called like Return to the Edge. Why would we want RR or NR?
Alex saying “it’s times like these when I remember why humanity is doomed” has such a monumentally gorgeous irony that I can’t due it proper justice using any human language that has ever existed, or will ever exist.
Alex is becoming self aware and I don't blame her.

I suspect 9 seasons, but an ending ANY sooner would be a darn *blessing*.
I'd say the reverse personally, since Feathers might be fun but if there ends up being only 7 seasons and she does Eugene, then she misses out on Feathers. Then again, I'm not sure the show really deserves that much cosplay effort be put into it
I don't think it'll have 9 seasons but I can see the series ending at Season 8 which will most likely come out November 2023

@@eshaaltahir4503p! They barely put any work into this, I visibly cringed when I saw the first season. I’m watching it because I want to see how it will end, but it’s really not getting any better 😂. I really wish they did a show about hiccups kids. I can just imagine those kids grown up hearing about how their parents had dragons on berk. So they decided to venture out and find the hidden world where they bond with their own dragons. That would have been better than this monstrosity.

i hope the theory that the show was actually made as one larger season and just split up into smaller ones is true, otherwise everyone involved in its production must be under massive crunch times

This was all animated and voice acted MONTHS ago no doubt. They're just releasing the "seasons" on a pre-determined schedule.

I feel stupid for not realizing that the "9 realms" is a comparison to Yggdrasil's 9 realms, and honestly that explanation would explain why the realms are so impossibly mystical. It'd be super offbase for the show to just add magic into its canon for some reason but at least then it'd explain the UNDERGROUND SUN

But then it takes itself seriously, then it shows underground areas, which, sure... I guess dragons could’ve lived there, but that implies some unknown stuff
Now there’s a sun down there, which explains things, but I wonder if science is even relevant anymore, it’s not like Jurassic park,

@@glauberglousger6643 Go rewatch all of the other HOTYD material, there's no magic. The Dragons are a fantasy element but there is no magic, it's all very sciencey.
I wonder if you could match the 9 realms of this show to the “9 Realms” of Norse mythology (there is scholarly debate about what classified as a realm).
From the Wiki for the ones that have already been revealed:
Crystal Realm (Alfheim)
Dark Realm (Helheim)
Fire Realm (Muspelheim)
Ice Realm (Niflheim)
Nature Realm (Vanaheim/Midgard?)
Bio Realm (Svalalfheim)
King’s Realm (Asgard)
And then this new realm, I guess we are calling the Giant Realm (Jotunheim).
Which would then leave either Midgard or Vanaheim as the last realm, though I am open to discussion on which each of these would symbolize. A couple of these are a toss up. It would also require the screenwriters (assuming they are in charge of the script) to think ahead.

Honestly some of the new dragon models like the death gripper and deadly Nadder look really good. The textures on the look super realistic like in the movies, which is super cool… but they also don’t really match the style of the show. A majority of everything else looks like it’s made of plastic, and doesn’t look very detailed, so i feel like these new dragons are gonna stick out like sore thumbs.
I think they legit just took the models of rtte and httyd 3 and that's why they look so detailed and good. There's no way they actually modled them from scratch, that would be too much of an effort for this show
Because they just took the models from those properties, which is far less impressive.
Also the desthgripper as a species does not fit in this series. These creatures will not only toy with the lives of their prey but will go out of their way to make sure that whatever poor creature they are hunting dies as slowly and painfully as possible, while taking great joy in doing so. Oh and it gets better. They are also very quick to resort to cannibalism, and during mating season the females will devour their mates to ensure the safety of their offspring, not unlike praying mantis’. And remember this is all canon information, from school of dragons. Deathgrippers are absolutely fucked animals.

there's no other explanation for it. they look ripped straight from the other shows whilst all the new dragons look like they're made of playdough.
i can't wait for the next season to pick up like a week later and all the adults are magically ok with dragons

Like most people, I was always under the impression that Nine Realms was supposed to be one 26 episode season that cut into parts. After all, the episode counts of the first four seasons (6,7,7,6) add up to 26 and it explains why each season feels so disjointed. Assuming that’s the case, that would mean Nine Realms season 5 is actually the first six episodes of season 2, and season 6 is presumably the other seven. We’ll have to wait until June 15 to confirm this theory, but I wouldn’t be shocked if it were true.

Also at 2:11 I think that's the Gronkle Iron Shield from season two, so at lest they are bringing something back from season 2 because we haven't seen the fire realm or any dragon from that relm since seaon 2
edit: sorry, not season 2, the fire relm stuff was from season 3
I'm starting to very ironically enjoy this show, mainly because I know we're gonna get an amazing review from you, but also I want to know what the two best characters (aka Alex and Eugene) are going to do in response to Tom's shenanigans. They're really the most enjoyable part of the show for me, because well, Alex is queen and Eugene is the sort of deliberately idiotic character I very much enjoy in media.

Honestly, when they say “realms” I think I’m pretty sure it refers to the 9 realms of Yggdrasil in Norse Mythology…Norse like the Vikings…huh, they DID have some relation to the Vikings. But with the realms working like Odin’s realms it would feel like a portal connecting the realms so the physics of each could be ignored since it’s not REALLY going down a hole and having a Sun underground
This is the same series that couldn't be bothered to check how the Vikings disposed of the dead, so I don't think they really cared.
