Solarsido is a great channel tbh. There's a wide range content and just Solar being cute and funny. The funny thing is that Moonbyul(or Colleague #1 as Solar calls her) is generally the camera person and/or appears in many videos. 😂 Solar reads the comments too, which is generally inadvisable for a celebrity, and tries to fulfill requests for things like song and dance covers or new challenges.
So glad you’re loving mamamoo. They are the best girls.

@@Princess.T3rf they did, 4 years ago. They apologized immediately after the concert when they got called out, once through their company and another through their own statement. And then apologized in person to the fans the next day during the next day for the concert. They never did it again (contrary to what some antis would say)
But if you don't forgive them it's also fine. It is not my place forgive them, after all, and everyone is entitled to their own opinion to the group! So don't feel pressured to stan them too if it makes you uncomfortable
@@Princess.T3rf yes, but it was due to ignorance since they didn't know what blackface was and they apologized for it multiple times every time the subject was brought up. They simply were trying to dress up as Bruno Mars and were unaware of blackface because Korea is not a multicultural country so racism isn't a focal matter there and people are not thoroughly educated about it. It's not like they intentionally did blackface to mock anyone, they made a mistake once and apologized for it multiple times. These girls actually go out of their way to support minor communities like the LGBTQ+ more than many k-pop groups out there but people always try to ignore that just to come up with a reason to hate them smh
@@anhlinhngole4098 i cannot excuse racist behavior towards black people if i’m not black myself. i personally don’t feel right doing that. i just wanted to shed light on something anti-black they did since they are black.

Great news, she's now THE MOST CREDITED female lyricist!!! She also won a daesang for her viewable radio show, "Studio Moon Night". She's singing more now as well! Mamamoo's hamster has gone far and still keeps improving herself!

Solar really is a great leader, especially when you find out she wasn't originally supposed to be the leader. Mamamoo was planned as a 5 person girl group, but the member, who was the eldest and leader, dropped out before debuting. That left the second eldest member, Solar, as the leader by default. She was the youngest in her family and for most situations she was used to being led and taken care of, up until that point, and now she was thrust into a situation where she had sky high expectations to meet, heavy criticism to bear, a brand to build from the bottom up and three younger girls who depended on her. Even to this day she's given everything to Mamamoo and she's one of best leaders, but she still thinks she's not doing enough

If you want to hear Solar sing in a gospel style, you should listen to their cover of "Delilah" on Immortal Songs 2! It's not a gospel song, but there's a brief, gospel-like part. If you do watch/react to it, please make sure you watch it till the end! Most reactors stop the video before it ends and miss the last part!

Solar and moonbyul didnt like each other at first. At first moon was shy and would keep to herself where solar was more vocal. They said there was this one incident where one of them threw cereal at each other.
