I agree. I have never liked square toe boots always thought they made your feet look too big, especially on the ladies. But it seems like now days if you want a low heeled boot, you have to a very limited choice unless you’re willing to go with a square toe. I have probably 20 pairs boots with every toe except square, but I’m thinking I’m going to have to just accept it and try a pair sooner or later. Probably Caiman or lizard.
I noticed your Lucchese 2000 phase real quick! I had a pair of smooth ostrich Lucchese 2000 with, the best way I can describe is a rounded square/squared round toe. Before EVERYONE went to square toes. If you don’t mind me asking, who did your resoles from leather to crepe? I have a pair of hippo skin boots that I need to convert since I wear them more as a work boot now. Also, jealous of your collection! You make me want to buy another pair, or six.

hey, sorry for the delay- there are several types of square toe that are independent of the size. Some brands Ex- Black jack, tend to olny use one type while others tend to do more or different than blackjack
Your missing SOOOOO many different skins. Manatee, seal, walrus, hippo, dog, bear, cow stomach, emu, bull frog, fish and etc. I have way to many boots LOL.
