"How can we make Condemn useful again?" "I don't know, increase its damage by like 800%" "It's still not good enough" "Do it again" And then we doubled it
hahaha word the good thing is many bulds per character meaning not everyone needs to be the same character any more, different builds within 1 which is good however they never should`ve done PG-lvl and GR at least more vary gr lvl or/and better and more vary maps with better Bounty and regular rifts etc..
Went from Hammerdin to this Condemn build. I love it so much! I used to die very easily but now I'm an immortal exploding tank, went up a couple of g-rifts. Thanks for the well detailed guide!
(EDIT) Nevermind i found YOUR D3 PLANNER :D Hey Rhykker, I'm doing this build right now. and going strong, but I have a few questions, should i follow THIS build guide in S13 as it IS, or should i do it after the IcyV build guide, these two builds have different items and skills. Best Regards Thomas Thank you for the awesome videos you put out.
Alternate gears are good to mentioned, because even if it is not the best (as you have to sacrifice with something else), it still gives you enough for you to loot mid greater rifts to get a good opportunity to loot your missing gear
If you have maxed out cooldown on everything including paragon you could afford to drop cooldown from the shield for condemn damage and still have 100% uptime on Akarat's Champion. Bit more damage never hurts.
Not my experience. I have max cooldown on my gear and still need shield, if only for 5%. Maybe I’m wrong but CDR should be at 51% to have a strong 100% Akkharat uptime.
What would do more damage? Ht gargantuan build. Or sader condemn build? I wanna go for one of those builds.. depending on what is better for soloing :)
Hello Rhykker, I've been following you for 3 seasons now and I'd like to thank you because your videos have been really useful to me. I'm a casual and solo player (because i don't have any pushing group), by the end of the season I usually end up somewhere in the late GR80s or 90 with paragon 800-850 but this season I'd like to push to 100. I'm thinking of playing one of these: ww barb (always liked this build plus it can be a zdp which is nice), firebats wd (had some succes with this one so why not? I'm willing to play any of its builds as long as there are no pets involved) or a crusader (the only class I have yet to play and the build from the video looks nice since i don't like squishy builds). What would you recommend me? thanks in advance
awesome vid! i have a question though,. it says on the PTR notes "Note: The existing versions of this item will also be changed to include the damage roll in the orange text, but will always roll a damage roll equal to the previous maximum possible"...... Does this mean our existing Primal Ancient for example BoP will be useless comes this patch since BoP's damage(orange text) is increased dramatically?
Rhykker, has this build changed at all since the patch release? I looked at the build you have on d3planner and I am just wondering if the paragon points still stand as max speed and the rest in Str? It just doesn't show your paragon choices in the planner. I appreciate your time thank you.
Are those "light beams" Mirinae gem? because Miri is not in gear showdown, but it seems that in gameplay yes. Thanks fo clarification. And if not, why not? good holy dmg + healing will be nice or?
I'm fairly new to Diablo so I have a question. How do you get all of this gear? Go to a certain spot and farm? Get some plans and craft? Once you have it, how do you manage to get exactly the stats you need?
Its better to start in a season, finishing the minor objectives of a season will give you one full class set and jump start a good end game build. With that first set it is pretty easy to grind for the other class sets on Rifts and Greater Rfits, Kadala is also more useful then people expect.
I didn't have a seasonal character though. Don't know what is really. I watch this guys videos a lot and hear a lot about seasonal and stuff. So this "build" wouldn't work unless the character is seasonal? Are there certain areas you can grind or just grind anywhere?
There's no area specific gear in this game for the 99% of the items, meaning that anything can drop from any mob. The most notable exceptions are cosmetics. The best way to farm gear is to initially stock up on keys by doing normal rifts, then do fast greater rifts. If you're doing efficient clears of said greater rifts, preferably under 5 minutes, you will get what you need eventually. Keep in mind that it's always beneficial to run in a party of 4 people since every player adds extra exp gain and magic find. That's the basics.
No, any character can use this build. But through the season accomplishments its easier to get these items than through regular play. Best places to grind is playing Rifts because of the monster density. Rifts can be acessed on the black obelisk you find in the City.
I'm just thinking about the Heaven's Fury build that's been nicknamed the Holy Shotgun. This one, with it's localized explosions makes sense to call it the Holy Hand Grenade... also Monty Python reference FTW.
No. He explains the build and says the planner will have the most up to date to follow. He even mentions the items in the planner build in the video already.
Just weird that he specifically says the sword has the better stats and to cube the furnace but the link has it the other way around. I understand the belts change.
swap vigilante belt for string of ears for more toughness, and put on a leoric crown with a diamond to reach more cooldown reduction. no need for akkhan helm since you hit the 6 set bonus without it, if you wanna run high GR:s then equip restraint and focus for massive dmg bonus and put convention in the cube
I have a challenge for you rykker... I don't see many phalanx style builds (probably a good reason why not), but I enjoy seeing the not so common builds.. so the challenge is to make the best possible build using 1) warhelm of kassar 2) unrelenting phalanx shield. 3) baleful remnant 2hander and 4) eternal union ring.. you can cube anything you need. just curious about what direction you would go..
If you have all the gear you need in regular non season characters, do the buffs/nerfs affect the gear you have after the update? I was going for the "Captain America" build and almost have it completed
I've found this to be insanely effective as a T XIII DB farming build with Sage set. I dont even have ancient an weapon and shield. I have swapped from Furnace to the two handed flail that gives you the prophet rune. i use hasteful rune on the ability. solo I typically get 4 DBs a kill.
Forgive me if I'm a tad slow, but in your video, you say you need all 6 pieces, but you are only wearing 5 but still have the 6 piece bonus, but aren't using a Ring of Royal Grandeur? You have unity in the cube but leave out the talisman? How is this so?
It's a fun and very powerful build to play in solo. Group play is an absolute nightmare because most other builds are so fast. It's a shame you have to give up so much to get a small amount of mobility as a crusader. Rat for example will be all the way across the map in a blink of an eye clearing everything. You are basically forced to make another build just for t13 and grift group play. Rats everywhere!
CylonHD you could change the iron skin with the horse/steed skill for t13 and lower grifts. i also do that for my hammerdin build for fast gameplay/bountys and such
Hey guys would this be pretty good for season 16? I never played the crusader before and really want to try it out. I like the idea of a good alternative thorn build.
With my build I had a hard time getting my cool down time high enough to get 100% akkarats up time, but I put my “Obsidian ring of the zodiac” in the cube and I don’t have any problems with cool down
i dont know why people keep coming up with the ring of avarice for anything, you literally dont need it to easily grab gold especially when you have a pet that runs around picking up the gold. As for the cubed weapon, wonder if Akkhans Addendum (i think thats what its called) would be just as good since essentially you're generating a whole lot more wrath as well as your hits doing like 450% fire damage (which im not sure if the condemn causing the damage is also modified)
This is now the top build, but they cube King Leoric's crown (for more cooldown), wear focus/restraint, and Akkhan's amulet, the blade of prophecy in the cube, and Akkhan's addendum as a weapon.
After this they should add more sets that are not a full 6. So you could combine more and have so many different builds. Or add more gems and let gear have more gem slots, and maybe like poe and warframe, make it so the gems can link and be more powerful or combine and make a new ability or element damage. Oh and make cooldown less important.
After this, they most likely won't do anything for this game anymore. They need to work on the next title. D3 is old and they kinda developed themselves into a dead-end with GRifts.
Shapookya I don't know if you remember when GR's and adventure mode revived d3 from the depths of the afterlife. It was like a whole new release and brought a lot more people back
yes, so? But now the game is over 5 years old with an engine that is over 10 years old. With content that pushed this game into a deadend because nothing else matters anymore than the adventure mode and especially GRifts. No matter what new content they'll bring it will just be baked into bounties and rifts.
Shapookya well what would you add to D3 besides rifts for endgame? It was literally just a grindfest before that, now you can compete each season for rankings, not to mention the fact they added seasons. Seasons itself makes people come back still over and over, the game may be dead for you but people still play it. And we waited how long for D3 itself from D2? So when do you think they are going to release a new Diablo? It may be outdated but it's still updated constantly, and I enjoy that
Never did I say the game is dead. I'm playing this season myself. I'd expect D4 around 2020 with an announcement in 2019. I'd also not expect more bigger D3 patches. Some balancing here and there but that's it. This last patch was not the continuation of endless patch support. It was the finishing touch. What content could be made? The usual stuff. Another act, another class, higher level cap with new skills and passives for all classes. Maybe an additional set for each class. More side content like uberbosses with meaningful rewards. Maybe some dynamic events like Diablo clone. They could make something completely different like the Labyrinth in path of exile. Anything that breaks up the monotony which is rifts and bounties, which we do since 2014. But again, won't happen. D3 is basically finished. Them not being able to say anything at Blizzcon means there is nothing coming in 2018, because Blizzcon is basically an advertisement for "what you can expect until next Blizzcon"
I remember back in the days I was hella proud of my HC holy shotgun sader. it was literally the best build. had the best of both worlds, great pack clearing, great single target. Never die cuz of 100% akarat and indestructible. I was clearing torment 6 back in the days that was the highest? i think. People all super impressed cuz t6 on HC is just dangerous as fuck. I was doing rift it forward HC and people that joined can't believe i'm soloing t6. Then I died one night as I was engaging the rift guardian because blizzard server crashed for about 10 minutes :( RIP
All time favorite sader build hands down! I remember back when I first broke that cdr breakpoint to get perma akarat's champions and that Phalanx build became an un-phasable juggernaut....good times.
Hey folks! This. Is. Rhykker.. coming to you with the Diablo 3 patch 2.1.2.3.1.0.3.1.5.6
"How can we make Condemn useful again?"
"I don't know, increase its damage by like 800%"
"It's still not good enough"
"Do it again"
And then we doubled it
hahaha word the good thing is many bulds per character meaning not everyone needs to be the same character any more, different builds within 1 which is good however they never should`ve done PG-lvl and GR at least more vary gr lvl or/and better and more vary maps with better Bounty and regular rifts etc..
#DoItAgain
A long time ago this build made me want to get deeper into Diablo, I remember how crazy it felt to do like torment 4 and 5 stuff for me.
Went from Hammerdin to this Condemn build. I love it so much! I used to die very easily but now I'm an immortal exploding tank, went up a couple of g-rifts. Thanks for the well detailed guide!
Ahh, I'm glad this is coming back, I really missed the Condemn build alongside the Phalanx build.
So happy to see Condemn back. This was my favorite Crusader build back then. I'll sure going to give it a go next patch.
i just finish the farming for this build today after looking the leaderboard and you post a video the same day.
yay!
Only guy on youtube I sit through ads to watch! Great video man
(EDIT) Nevermind i found YOUR D3 PLANNER :D
Hey Rhykker, I'm doing this build right now. and going strong, but I have a few questions, should i follow THIS build guide in S13 as it IS, or should i do it after the IcyV build guide, these two builds have different items and skills. Best Regards Thomas

Alternate gears are good to mentioned, because even if it is not the best (as you have to sacrifice with something else), it still gives you enough for you to loot mid greater rifts to get a good opportunity to loot your missing gear
Hey Rhykker, do you plan on making a guide on the Holy Shotgun build? I heard it is very viable again.
Hey Rhykker is fire viable at all for this? I've been spinning the idea but haven't had the time to test it.
More like 56%. You shouldn't need CDR on shield if you have Leoric's Crown in the cube.
Can't wait for Season 12 :) Actually one of the only times i have been looking forward to getting back into grinding in Diablo 3 :)
Hey Rhykker, could you do a guide on Multishot DH, as you mentioned in one of your videos that Multishot got stronger as well?
Is this build more fun than the crusader captain America build?
What is ur head style? Looks so good
Yo, i know that this video is kinda 'old' but what transmog you use? It looks awesome
Transmogs looking nice Rhykker
Nice seeing builds like this and Holy Shotgun coming back into viability. :)
What would do more damage? Ht gargantuan build. Or sader condemn build? I wanna go for one of those builds.. depending on what is better for soloing :)
Hello Rhykker, I've been following you for 3 seasons now and I'd like to thank you because your videos have been really useful to me.

MY FAB BUILD COMES BACK ALIVE!!! Nostalgia!
awesome vid! i have a question though,. it says on the PTR notes "Note: The existing versions of this item will also be changed to include the damage roll in the orange text, but will always roll a damage roll equal to the previous maximum possible"...... Does this mean our existing Primal Ancient for example BoP will be useless comes this patch since BoP's damage(orange text) is increased dramatically?
Which is the most recent build, the video or the d3planner link as both have different gear?
Rhykker, when you do your tier list, why not separate them by each class, considering there's so many builds up in the same GR ranges?
Wouldn't Obsidian Ring be a decent alternative to get your 100% uptime on AC?
Hi Rhykker
Near the end of the video you say you you will link to the D3planner for best in slot and stats but cant see one.
Thanks for the videos
Rhykker, has this build changed at all since the patch release? I looked at the build you have on d3planner and I am just wondering if the paragon points still stand as max speed and the rest in Str? It just doesn't show your paragon choices in the planner. I appreciate your time thank you.
Do you have any starter/ Non gear set builds? Also has anyone ever told you that you sound like liftingnerdbro.
Most gear obtained by purchasing gear from Kadala/upgrading...then from greater rifts...then from rifts; or so has been my experience.
Its better to start in a season, finishing the minor objectives of a season will give you one full class set and jump start a good end game build. With that first set it is pretty easy to grind for the other class sets on Rifts and Greater Rfits, Kadala is also more useful then people expect.

Can we please call this build the Holy Hand Grenade?
I love it
Name it "The Catholic Father"
...because you bring subjects around you to their knees.
I'm just thinking about the Heaven's Fury build that's been nicknamed the Holy Shotgun. This one, with it's localized explosions makes sense to call it the Holy Hand Grenade... also Monty Python reference FTW.
Aloha Snackbar Build
I was thinking the Allah Akhaan build.
The set in d3planner is not the same in the video
It's updated to the best one.
Wouldn't there to be a video reflecting those changes?
No. He explains the build and says the planner will have the most up to date to follow. He even mentions the items in the planner build in the video already.
Just weird that he specifically says the sword has the better stats and to cube the furnace but the link has it the other way around. I understand the belts change.
J Mosc it turned out better to have the cd on the furnace with the belt damage prevention i believe
swap vigilante belt for string of ears for more toughness, and put on a leoric crown with a diamond to reach more cooldown reduction. no need for akkhan helm since you hit the 6 set bonus without it, if you wanna run high GR:s then equip restraint and focus for massive dmg bonus and put convention in the cube
Wear Akkhan Helm and cube Crown. Wear Illusory Boots.
Is it a good idea to run Fervor for the 15% cool down and if so what’s the best weapon to use instead of heavenly strength and furnace
Rhykker does this build still work?Love your videos!!😎👍
I have a challenge for you rykker... I don't see many phalanx style builds (probably a good reason why not), but I enjoy seeing the not so common builds.. so the challenge is to make the best possible build using 1) warhelm of kassar 2) unrelenting phalanx shield. 3) baleful remnant 2hander and 4) eternal union ring.. you can cube anything you need. just curious about what direction you would go..
Since you're trying to max Condem's damage and the only thing you use sweep for is damage resist why not equip the furnace instead?
which one is better for lazy farm? invoker or condemn in 2.6.1 ? i will defo miss my LON Bomb...
Rhykker, this build is better than captain america?
If you have all the gear you need in regular non season characters, do the buffs/nerfs affect the gear you have after the update? I was going for the "Captain America" build and almost have it completed
set gear will update, NOT the legendary weapons, items...go fish, I mean farm. :)
haha alright preciate the info
I've found this to be insanely effective as a T XIII DB farming build with Sage set. I dont even have ancient an weapon and shield. I have swapped from Furnace to the two handed flail that gives you the prophet rune. i use hasteful rune on the ability. solo I typically get 4 DBs a kill.
Dear Rhykkerrrrrr
How do you get that display in the side that shows the uptime and avarage dmg of skills ?
Is it a good idea to run fervor to get the extra 15% cool down reduction and if so what would be the best weapon to run
How is multishot doing? Would a Sentry Multishot be better?
both good and viable but both not optimal good for speeds though
I am glad that i saved my full ancient akkhan in my stash for a good while now! just need to get weapon and shield.
I've been waiting for an upload on this guide and here it is. Thank you Rhykker!
Forgive me if I'm a tad slow, but in your video, you say you need all 6 pieces, but you are only wearing 5 but still have the 6 piece bonus, but aren't using a Ring of Royal Grandeur? You have unity in the cube but leave out the talisman? How is this so?

FINALLY, ill be playing an entire season again
I'm hyped as fudge for this season! Crusader it is!
This was my first build on crusader :D
Hey guys would this be pretty good for season 16? I never played the crusader before and really want to try it out. I like the idea of a good alternative thorn build.
Finally, Saders are worth playing again.

Very great build sir
Can you do a guide for season 11/12 Roland Sweep guide?
can't wait to play this one
D3 Planner link PLS !
man i love your videos, why dont you play other games too :D you can always explain everything i understand all
where putting unity in cube, meaning of this build is for solo only ? no group play option ?
The Diablo planer build seems like a wonky version of this. also wouldnt akkahns addendum in the cube work well since your always in akarats mode?
Hi can you explain to me which ability is the knockback ones that works with the bracers? is it the vaccume ability rune?
Yes
Is there any reason to use the furnace over the blade if you happen to have both primals?
God damn... my two favorite builds are being brought back into the light... Uliana and Condemn lol
How to you provoke and condemn at the same time?? They both are utility skills.. Is anything wrong with me??
@Rhykker - The D3 planner build is different gear all around...
The info on bis weapon might be off, everyone on leaderboard is using furnace. Seems like attack speed is not affecting mini cooldown of condemn?
Yep could be
Love that build... but i have always wanted a good dark light build... i love the dark light.
Is this a tank build. Does the Crusader have a tank build?
Thorns is fairly tanky.
Dude I miss the Phalanx meta, just spamming 6 horses, crushing the enemies
+Yung_Mang0 me too!
There is also another cool build with the Phalanx - the summon build. They should really buff phalanx and get those 2 builds viable again!
All time favorite sader build hands down! I remember back when I first broke that cdr breakpoint to get perma akarat's champions and that Phalanx build became an un-phasable juggernaut....good times.
Rhykker Will the condemn build work the same on Xbox?
What's the secondary selected?
Is there a website wehere this stuff is like written down as a guide or do I have to screenshot every item out of the video? :D
d3planner in the description
I've got that same sword but the stats really suck and it seems this other one I got is better...
U got me subscribe homie.. good work fo reel
What is the nerf that captain america biuld recieved, could you explain?
Could anyone advise what transmogs Rhykker is using at the beginning of the vid?
Adrian Xu The armor is the Sovereign set and the sword + shield are not transmogged. The wings are from the RoS Collector's edition.
omg this is hardcore do u have any thing for beginers? i just stared playing few days ago
kiwiterran1 what character did u choose? Maybe I can help
how did you change you right click into a utility mine is stuck on secondary
Could you run oculus instead of unity?
He said you can use Ancient Parthan Defenders for more defense, but what is proc'ing them?
Jerome I think the Thunderfury on your follower with proc APD
the same thing proccing the knock back. the game considers the mobs to be 'stunned' while they are being moved by knockback.
I hope someone can help me out, but in the D3planner in the description, are the lines on those items the ideal lines?
Rhykker, just a heads up your d3 planner link in the "Diablo 3 2.6.1 Barbarian Build: Whirlwind GR 118+ (Guide, Season 12, PTR)" isn't loading.
+derek smith thanks! I updated it now.
Thank you
how did u use provoke and condemn at the same time it wont let me cuz there on the same skill slot have to pick only 1 of them
When is the release for 2.6.1?
not soon enough
I wish the 2 piece bonus was "Akarat's Champion lasts until you die".
Next build horse rider crusader?
So, am I missing something? I can't get the 100% uptime despite also having max cooldown reduction on amulet
I just need like a link to a full list of every legendary I need to get a new version of when the patch hits.
I Dont get it. When I cast condemn it does not cost me wrath at all. Can someone explain ?
Everything I've used from this cat is like gold. Try it!
