It is lame. However, possibly more realistic.
IRL terror dones could just plant shaped charges or stick small bombs in the engine vent. IRL the total destruction of a vehicle comes from ammunition rack explosion, which would 100% kill the terror drone if it was still around.

C&C Generals was the only game I remember playing from that series. Which one is this? it looks very good, the graphics hold pretty well and have some nice concepts. That Apocalypse tank its dope as fuck, shooting lighting and fire like a demonic war engine

how do you connect to other players?
Online multiplay is built-in to the mod, no third-party app nor registration needed. A copy of Yuri's Revenge is required to install the mod though.
Or for Vanilla you can either use GameRanger or the CnCNet client
