I would agree it is pretty complex. Unfortunately, we're still with the Phillips head hardware. There are, however, Ti and stainless hex screw set available for this kit already.
Hi, I just received my kit in the mail. I'm surprised by how small the space is for the ESC. Have you confirmed that your Justock fits up there, and clears the servo link? Thanks!
As far as the footprint, yes, it fits fine. My next video (going up Monday) will show the ESC install. The only issue I had was the height - the fan hits the front upper top deck. I had to take it off for the complete install, but actually found another way to mount it (the fan) so it would still work. That will be in the 3rd video.
This is one of Tamiya's most complex kits. And are they using hex screws in this kit? People want them to use hex screws on there kits for now on.

I’m wondering the same thing. It’s honestly what I’m most excited about this video series.

Greg Vogel as in rc car action writer?
That is the one, however we used to work together at RC Driver awhile back - that's when I pimped it :)
"for letting me borrow his Hudy one some years ago. . ." ROFL
SHHHH - he may want his screwdriver back :)
Such annoying background music, so it's muted!!!!
Gotta have something to fill the dead air...
