- A fishing spider is a spider that is the size of the top five in Korea.
Fishing spiders are spiders that move around without making a web.
When hunting, they use their high speed and legs to catch their prey. In particular, they have large and sharp fangs that allow them to subdue their prey in an instant.

저도 최근에 타란튤라 2마리를 기르기 시작했습니다 역시 거미들은 다 이쁜거 같아요
나 이분 구독자 2천때 처음보고 오렌만에 다시 왔다.. 진짜 책도 출시하고..구독자 100만명도 넘고...진짜 레인지와의 콤비때 그때 막 레인지 악어에다넣고 세탁기로 소맥드시고 그땐 욕도 하셨던것같고 돼라형 진짜 오렌만이다

I went to Birmingham (England) for a convention last August. I had to nip to the loo and when I came out there was a bloke looking up at the ceiling. I looked at him and without looking away he said, "That's the biggest spider I've ever seen". I looked up and it was the biggest spider I'D ever seen! I swear it was the size of a dinner plate! And it was right above my head! I've never moved so fast! 🤣 I'd heard stories from a chap I knew as a kid who worked for BT down the tunnels of spiders that big, but I'd always taken them with a pinch of salt. Now I'm a true believer! I actually like spiders, but not at that size! Your fishing one isn't doing much for me either I'm afraid! I'm happy they're in Korea with you and not the UK with me! 😝

Just in case anyone is wondering this is NOT a Brazillain Wandering Spider despite the reference to being a "wandering spider". I am not an arachnid expert but this is definitely Dolomedes of some type, Possibly Dolomedes Sulfureus which lives in asia and Korea, and yes it does have venom and can bite you, but it is unlikely to do so unless it feels threatened or is pressed against your skin. Usually in North America Dolomedes variants have more dark brownish coloring and different striped patterns that make them mistaken for Wolf Spiders at a glance, however the surest way to tell is by the eye pattern. Wolf Spiders have a set of two MASSIVE primary eyes that give them a similar face to a Jumping Spider or an Ogre Faced Spider
You should raise a jumping spider! They’re cute and easy to keep.

Spiders are adorable! Last week I found one in our kitchen that was light green and the size of my pinky nail, which is a moderately sized spider around here. It was so cute but my family doesn't like spiders so I quickly placed it outside before anything unfortunate happened :)

I should point out that poisonous is consuming and venomous is injecting. Venomous fangs is the right term. Not all spider bites are harmful to humans. and most spiders aren’t interested in biting us. field guide to spiders book are a good resource to learn more about them.

우리나라의 닷거미류나 농발거미류도 해외 거미들 못지않게 덩치가 있다보니 포스가 장난이 아니긴 하죠. 게다가 배회성이라는 특성답게 먹이를 거미줄의 보조 없이 잡아야 하다보니 피지컬 자체가 거미줄 치는 애들을 훨씬 압도한다는 것 자체도 매력이라고 봅니다.
우리나라에 이런 거미도 있다니 신기하네요

What a handsome spider. It's the same color as my dog, lol. Looks toasted. It reminds me of the wolf spiders we have here that love to just walk into the house and keep all the other bugs out. Just much much bigger!
