You got it all wrong! All you need to do is extract a pheropod (in layman’s terms, bugbait), and squeeze it for them to protect you from the Combine. Otherwise, you can throw the pheropod and have them go wherever you want.
Just over twenty minutes to develop an emotional attachment to an antlion. Though GwiSoon has long since departed, I sincerely hope he was able to make his contribution to the cycle of life, and that his offspring are out there somewhere. After binge-watching half your videos I've gotten a strong urge to start keeping an ant colony... Wonderful videos either way! As someone highly interested in entomology I adore them all!
I had an ant lion colony as a kid, I dug a big pit in the ground and filled it with sand and there were about 15-20 of them in there that I had scavenged from all over. Then a couple of them on a cannibalisms rampage.... The best part is when you have them in your hand they try to dig in your skin and it feels like someone pressing a warm furry finger and it tickles immensely.
I loved them as a kid. I would keep several as pets. Some lasted long enough to start the process to morph. Loved feeding them and cleaning the habitat as a child, I never see any around these days.
It’s because of your videos that I’ve become friends with a lot of insects. Most recently I’ve become friends with butterflies because they all congregate in one area and just like you I’ve been slowly showing them that I’m safe. I’ve been scooping them up and then putting them back down gently and now they know who I am. Thank you for your content. I really love it
Technically pill bugs are a type of woodlouse that can roll into a ball. They are very cute :) Another thing is antlions aren't dragonflies (Order odonata). They are from order Neuroptera which also has lacewings.

As a child, I used to play with the antlions, I always wondered and look for their pits at the back of my house and catch them and touch them. Grab a handful of sand and watch them dig and build a pit on my hand. It's always entertaining. Then as I grew older, I just realized that the antlions are one of the most aggressive hunters out there. I can't believe I touched these guys, lol.

That’s why it walks around, to find the ant scent, before building the trap. GwiSoon had a very good attack in the cockroach belly, to get the venom inside its vitals. This is key.
I love antlion larvae.. they’re so oddly cute. Watching them dig their pits is fascinating, just like watching spiders spin their webs, too. Beautiful creations. I also didn’t realize they straight up yeet their damn leftovers out of the pit lmao. Entertainment at its finest with the sound effects.

Not dragonflies, they are Lacewings. Different order, not all that closely related to be honest.

My parents often taught me that you could use toothpaste to treat mosquito bites, especially mint-flavored toothpaste, it kind of relieves the itch.
I am dealing with some pretty bad mosquito bites rn, mint oil is helping
There are more myths on mosquito bite remedies than there are mosquitoes in the world lol
