Driftwood or aquarium wood can be the foundation of your Aquascape, creating almost a skeleton in which to build your aquatic garden or nature aquarium.
It can also be used as a focal point on its own complimented by plant growth. Spiderwood, Mopani, Malaysian driftwood, and Manzanita all make great choices for use in most planted aquariums and aquascapes.
All woods affect your ph by lowering it and stabilizing it often in favour of most aquatic plants and fish.
