Funnily enough we used to use the water filler cap on our old motorhome all the time. Like you, we have the anti-slip mats and have never used them. Fingers crossed it remains that way.
When we bought our 1st caravan in 1991 my lovely husband spent just over £2,000 in the accessory shop at the dealers. When we finished caravanning in 2013 we still had EVERYTHING he had bought back in 1991, the only thing he used was the Aquaroll!!!!!
Definitely used the skid mats here, perhaps a RWD and tyres with a bit more tread on 'em would have worked. Don't think even Sky are in favour of the dish these days - IP Streaming Wins the day, we got a cost effective Avtex (which is really an LG) with smarts built in.
We had a satellite dish couple of years ago , found it to much hassle to set up and still not being able to get all the channels so thats gone now . I stream everything now .
Lol. The water filler cap is on my list of most useful things. 😁 Never got a Sat dish for our current van. We stream everything now.
Yes, how things change, smart TV, wifi,VPN and firestick and you are away!

We also have a brand new set of skid mats that we havnt used but stay in our van 😂. Also love our fire stick !

We do use our water cap filler thingy, it does leak quite a bit though 🤣
We have carpets at the front and back, but not in the kitchen stroke door area.
I would definitely be worried if they were in my kitchen, I can be very clumsy!
