I read in your book that start cards may not refer to actual people in a spread, but may indicate direction and auspicious/inauspicious placements of surrounding cards. Did I read that correctly? Do people cards always refer to people, or can these cards just drive direction and auspicious meanings? Anyone interested in learning Kipper, this book is a must! It is jam packed with great information. No other English book comes close to this one. LOVE IT!
Finally had a moment to watch. I am always captivated by your easy to follow explanations. I need to put it in the SAVE part of my brain and seal the door so it stays! Thanks, Toni!
Great information Toni. You are full of great information as always. Love your videos. I to am wondering and excited about the decks and your next giveaway....
Thanks Toni, for another brilliant explanation of a a very useful spread. Can I confirm - You always pre-select one significator which is shuffled into the 8 cards that were drawn to make up the rest of the spread - then all 9 are shuffled up so as to ranomise where the signifcator appears.
Davina Powell in the video yes - just to show how - but I wouldn’t choose a significator normally - it’s for explanation purposes ie what would happen if a sig falls
What does exiting the spread mean? It is because she is faced outwards on the outside of the spread? What is your significator pictures aren’t in profile? Also, are you reading past and future? Would the left be past and right future? Or would the right be past because it is behind her head? Also is exiting a kipper idea or a German Lenormand idea? What are stop cards and are they used in lenormand? (I think they’re only for kipper) So the left column is inauspicious? Why? And right is exiting because you’re not using directionality? Also, tree is a negative card? Why? Which cards/significators are negative or positive (or neutral)? Or was it negative because it’s weighing down? Wouldn’t it need to be at the bottom to be weighted on?
Exiting the spread means sitting in the last column of the spread You don’t read past if you set an intention for a future spread - all cards are future Exiting the spread stems from her place in the spread - it is a term I use Directional reads are traced back to at least the 18th century Tree is a negative card yes - if you wnat to read the first lenormand instructions join our Facebook group - they are in the files section World lenormand Association is the name of the group
Hi Toni, Great video, if I understand on your 9 cards spread for health, you do not take out tree, you ask the question and shuffle and if it come up it has a stronger meanings? Thanks
Thank you for your detailed kipper classes! I took your classes on your website and now I can give readings with out having to constantly question if im doing it right. I just have one question. Out of the tarot, lanormand and kipper which one do you feel is the most accurate?
For Lenormand is you chose a focus card (significator for non person) that’s negative it is more favorable to see it in the bottom row? and for positive focus cards it’s ideal to see it on the top row to weigh down?
Just to make sure I understood correctly :) If my Lady looks right (your looks left), she would be exiting on the right side of the spread, right? So whatever you said for the left column would apply in my spread to the right side and the other way round. You called the last card position to be auspicious; does it mean that for me it would be the left bottom card or is it still the same (right bottom card)?? Thank you so much, always find your videos VERY useful! :)
