@@JamesHimmCoach33 The pleasure is mine. I’m new to the Kipper tradition and your videos and explanations are so smooth and easy to follow. It’s a delight to have discovered your Kipper videos! I have long been a fan of your Lenormand videos and now I get to expand my knowledge through your Kipper videos! Hoping you are having a lovely day/evening and looking even more forward to more videos!
Very interesting. I do like the way the knighting is applied within the readings. Again, far more complex than Lenormand, but much more detail. Thank you for posting this.
I just ordered my first Kipper card deck (Fin de Siècle Kipper), these cards should arrive by in two days. My story is long but in a nutshell, I have been fascinated with Tarot decks, mostly for the artwork. I have collected many decks and read many books on the subject. Recently, I branched out with Gilded Reverie Lenormand cards and honestly, have been freaked out at the detail these cards go into with what actually happens day to day in my life. I suppose my question would be what are the main differences between the Kipper cards and the Lenormand cards. Forgive me if you have already posted a video on this, I just subscribed and have yet to look through all the videos.
I"m so excited for you, hearing that you've been working with Lenormand (having wonderful results), and want to explore Kipper! Here's how I see the differences between the two systems: One is that Kipper has more people cards in the deck than Lenormand (unless you work with the King and Queen playing card inserts), and some of those characters can have additional meanings. Another is that Kipper relies heavily on the directional cues of certain cards, much more than Lenormand. And another is that the cards fall into categories: there are people/character cards, movement cards, cause and effect cards, and stop cards. Where you typically read Lenormand from left to right, Kipper is a little more fluid based on the types of cards in the reading. I hope that helps, and I appreciate you watching - and subscribing!
Jo Ty for the lesson, appriciated. I have 1 question If cards come out in reverse, how do i read them,do i turn it around or is it a "opposite" meaning the like other tarot cards?
Hi! Thanks so much for watching the video; I appreciate it. To answer your question, Kipper is a system that is only read upright - so, if a card appears reversed, you would just turn it upright. I would add this, though: You might want to give the card extra consideration *because* it first appeared reversed; it's the card's way of getting your attention.
Hello, Cidalia! I'm excited hearing you're learning to read Kipper - good for you! Here are my thoughts on your question... The Lovers card is the love and romance card in Ciro's deck, so that's the one you want to look for in a reading. A new love might be the combination of Lovers + Child. Another possibility would be having your card (Main Female) facing Main Male in a line reading - even better with Lovers between the two cards. And another possibility would involve the Courtship card, which I sometimes see as a "dating" card. So, if your card, Main Male, and Courtship turned up together, that might suggest new love. Hope that helps in some way, Cidalia. Thanks for watching the video!
Also can the cards be read diagonally, and if so how does it impact the reading. How is the reading interpret when reading diagonally direction with the 3 scenarios given.
You could read the diagonals. It's just another way to gain information. As far as impact, a diagonal might reinforce a message received from a column or row; it would emphasize that initial message because it's being repeated. Here's how I would interpret the diagonals of the readings in the video... 1. Advisor - Woman - A Gift: Advice (Advisor) on a process (Advisor) is presented (A Gift) to the woman (The Woman "facing" A Gift). Change - The Woman - Unexpected Reward: A change (Change) for the woman (The Woman) leads to improvement (Unexpected Reward). 2. Official Person - Advisor - Court House: Being disciplined (Official Person) with the process (Advisor) is the right decision (Court House). Work & Occupation - Advisor - Change: Work (Work & Occupation) connected with an advisor (Advisor) leads to a change in circumstances (Change). 3. Prison - Official Person - Journey: Limitation (Prison & Restriction) of discipline (Official Person) for the journey (Journey) blocks progress (Prison & Restriction + Journey). Short Rest - Official Person - Theft: A forced break or time out (Short Rest) results in discipline (Official Person) being lost (Theft). Hope that helps!
For me the first reading seems like YOU are the guy the deck is pointing to! As for the 2nd reading.. this is why i some times think tht card reading is BS as one can interpret it like however one wants and screw the mind of the querent or one's own mind Like the older woman.. if she is a friend or a mother it's one thing but if it's an EX it's a whole different game all this is way too vague.. how can we find out who the older woman card is?
Thanks for tuning in and watching, and for also sharing your thoughts. You have to take into account the readings in the video weren't actual scenarios - they were situations off the top of my head in the moment, designed to show the viewer who requested the video how I go about the technique/process. But I understand where you're coming from - general readings can seem somewhat vague at times, which is why I encourage people to ask *specific* questions - to remove that possibility. In this case, if it were an actual reading for an actual person, additional cards might have been drawn to clarify more about the woman the reading was referring to.
Hi James, thanks for your fantastic readings, I learn a lot from your videos. I have a question, I asked if a person is wealthy and the cards are as follows, above him, with his back high honors, below him a lot of money and a gift, and below high honors false card. I do not get it. I need your help, is he wealthy or not ?????
Veronica uru Thanks so much for watching the video. I’m not entirely clear on the layout you used and how the cards turned up. I would need you to restate how the cards turned up to better understand and help you. From what I could gather, if you’re saying False Person is next to A Lot of Money, then the person might not be as wealthy as you might think or be led to believe. Your question is a yes-no question, so you can look at the cards to see if there are more positive (yes) than negative (no) for your answer. Also, you don’t need a lot of cards for this type of question. I would use a Line if 5, just to keep it simple. You could also restate the question to something like, “What do I need to know about this person’s finances?” It’s better than asking a yes-no question. Hope that helps in some way.
If you do a reading with fewer cards (like a line of three, a line of five, a line of seven, or a nine-card box) you would have cards remaining to use as possible clarifiers. If you are reading a GT, there wouldn't be any cards to use as clarifiers because you're using the entire deck. I personally don't use clarifiers when I read with Kipper. If a reading produces another question in the moment, I will just do a follow-up reading (my preference is a line of five) on that specific question.
What I see as differences between the two is that Kipper has more people cards than Lenormand (unless you take into account the playing card inserts of Kings, Queens, and Jacks with Lenormand); Kipper is more reliant on direction than Lenormand (taking into account which way people are looking, and the direction certain objects are moving - away or toward); and Kipper has distinct categories of cards that alter the "storyline" being presented (cause and effect, stop, movement, direction). Thanks for watching the video, and I hope that helps.
@@JamesHimmCoach33 thanks. I have tarot and lenormand cards and just recently purchased the kipper. Let's see how it goes with kipper. ☺️ Thanks great weekend
@@jerseymolina767 I've seen a few readers work with Tarot as they would Lenormand. I say if that approach works for you, that's wonderful! When it comes to card reading, I believe we should all find the ways that work best for us personally. Hope you're enjoying your weekend.
It depends on the context (question) and column the cards fell. Without knowing those, I would offer that the Woman being above the Man would suggest the man has the woman on his mind. The other thing would be that the woman might either be in control in the relationship or wants to be.
