Thank you for all the work you put i to these! I am loving them so much, but as a visual learner I really wish you had the Amharic text available for the examples.
Kimberly Cronen Thanks got the kind words. I can start putting the Amharic Fidel in the new videos I post! I figured it might be distracting for those who don’t know the alphabet. Thanks for the valuable feedback 👍🏾
You are the best thank you for making me excited to learn Amharic. Next time I visit Ethiopia I will be able to talk people more instead of getting someone to translate everything for me and vice versa. Thanks
I'm so glad you find the videos useful! And I appreciate the kind words so much! The key is practice! So try to use and listen to Amharic as much as possible.
Salem! Great video as always! Could you add the conjugation written in fidel? With the pronunciation plus the transliteration and the Amharical letter would be so much easier to learn fidel and practice reading. Thanks!
The part added to conjugate the infinitive form Mechal into the present form is "Alle" in different applicable formats. eg. I can, Ine Ichil allehu you can, ante Tichil Alleh she can, Isua Tichl Allech We can, Inante Tichil allachihu They can, Inersu Ychilallu You can (formal) Irso Yichil allu
Like Spanish because the subject can be understood from the conjugated verb, it is usually omitted. (Not in English) eg. showing this equivalence in the similar Amharic and Spanish words, Mechal (መቻል) and Poder እችልኣለሁ -- Ichil allhu ----> Puedo ትችልኣለህ --- Tichil alleh -----> Puedes ትችልኣለች -- Tichil allech --------> Puede ትችሉኣላችሁ --- Tichilu allachihu --------> Podeis ይችሉኣሉ --- Yichil Allu --------> Pueden እንችል'ኣለን - Inchil Allen ------> Podemos
This is very cool. Thank you for the great comment. It's interesting to see both the difference and the similarities in languages from different cultures. Thanks again, this is awesome!

Please use Amharic Fidel in the lessons. I taught myself to read so it helps me pronounce.
Make video of negative form of the verb (like mehed, mebelat, mefeleg...)
Once I get some more verb videos done, I plan to go back and do the negative forms!
It's so useful thank you very much
