To prevent the vinyl from burning, I use parchment paper over the rhinestones to cover the area of the vinyl...
Thank you for the demo of the glass 🙏🏻
Thanks for that suggestion, I really appreciate that... I like learning new things super helpful on that suggestion. I will definitely try that out for sure.
I really didn't think the glass was going to work but it's not bad at all.
If the applicator is completely warm it can pick up the rhinestones. I have one myself and that saves me some time when applying my crystals.
Amazing thanks for that tip... I will definitely try it.

Tfs, just got my stuff yesterday, so far just have done masks.
Amazing... Hope you are loving how beautiful your work is coming out with this added touch.
I’m new user. For hot fix stones in order for them to stay can you only use the hot fix tool , or can you use the gem tac or Arleen’s jewel it ?
Hi, if you are using the hotfix stones on fabric it is best to use the hot fox tool because it holds better. For those materials that cannot take the heat you can use the gem tac to put it on. But it doesn't affect the Rhinestones whether you use the hot fix tool or not.
There are all kind of different plastics it would be great if you had tried it on an acrylic Starbucks cup.
Thanks for the suggestion
Hello there! Thank you for your video. I have a question.... have you used the hotfix tool to apply stones on metal objects such as when crafting with tins...
Hi Ida, thanks for your support. I have not done a test on metal but based on the notes from the instruction manual it indicates that it is not to be used on metal, leather, vinyl, plastic, wood, rubber, rock, or any Heat sensitive materials. It would probably be best to use glue in these instances instead of the hotfix applicator.
❤
@@craftbasicsjs if you use glue on the metal or other material with the hot fix rhinestone will the rhinestone hold up or will they tend to fall off bc it’s a hot fix rhinestone ? Hope I’m explaining correctly sorry if not
Where did you get the white protector board?
I purchased mine on Amazon amzn.to/488l8ez this is the link. You can also get the smaller one if that works for you.
Please can I use any fabric?
Not all fabrics are suitable for heat. You can only apply heat to some fabric so be sure before starting
What is that pencil you are using to pick up the stones
Hi Glennis, thanks for reaching out. It is a wax pencil for rhinestones, you can purchase this on Amazon using my link amzn.to/3s4sXON.
EN ESPAÑOL
Sorry, English only
Sorry
Can all rhinestones be used with the heating tool
No only the ones with the adhesive on the back. Check out this video where I explain the difference. ua-cam.com/video/jQJ2lTIOvAY/v-deo.htmlsi=wMJwp6Z71WdjeXr8
Use the flat or next size down tip??
That's an option but ensure it seems fitting because it will be too hot to remove once you have started.
What's the name of the White pen pls
Hi Violet, the white pen is called a Wax Pencil but you can try one of these too amzn.to/3Te7RJs. I purchased one on Amazon.
is it possible to attach crystals to metal with this applicator?
Hey, it might be possible yes. I'll do a test and see how it works and holds up.
Thanks so much just what I needed and I was looking for. Just a question. What do you use to clean the glasses (any kind) before putting the crystals?? And thanks for having the subtitles activated 😍 I appreciate so much. Saludos desde México 🇲🇽
You are most welcome... I use Rubbing Alcohol and a paper napkin/towel to do the cleaning. It removes any residue from the area. You may also use a clean piece of cloth that is not fuzzy so it doesn't leave stuff on your work area.
Thanks for your support... greatly appreciated 😌
I'm a frist time user what do you recommend to use as stencil to draw my pattern
Do you have a cricut machine?
@@craftbasicsjs no I don't I wish I had one I just used a stencil on my frist one I'll take pic and send it to you ty I sure would like to see more of your work

Well I'm guessing the slip on the glass and ceramic surfaces is because of they are spheres?🤷🏼♀️
Yes it wasn't designed for this type of application. Testing also reveals how it adheres
Have you tried the applicator upon stainless steel?
Hey Karen, I haven't tried that one as yet.
Can it be used on net fabric
Hi, if it's not a hard plastic then no. You will have to apply it with a glue instead of the applicator because it's very hot.
Please were can I buy it
Hi, you can use the link in my description to purchase one on Amazon.
The directions on how to use the tool is on the package.
Yes indeed they are
Not the one I got from Amazon
