Is that the new thing now? After you score you throw your stick down? I just want to know what to do going forward.
You have to drop your stick so the refs can check to make sure your stick is legal and you havent made your pocket illegal or you switched up your lacing
the refs have to check the stick after every goal to make sure the stick isn't illegal
Thanks for asking. I came to ask the same thing. I was thinking it had to be a rule because no way there are that many showboaters in the game. Seems like a silly rule though. Equipment check before the game and be done with it.

Ngl, It was impossible for me to play girls lacrosse as a boy when it was boys v girls. the ball was on the ground, I got it but as I got it, all the girls went down. I felt bad. (I play defense)

Why are the guys geared (ie Helmet and gloves) up but not the women?
boys lacrosse allows a lot more contact, pushes and checks or d in "the sphere" are called

@@oceanwaves657 It does seem strange at first, I starting playing a few years ago bc my mom made me but I've come to realize that it's honestly just Hockey in the air. It actually very fun once you start getting good at it.
What's the deal with "girls" heads!? I can whip a ball faster with them (with no accuracy). I've never caught a pass while running (actually impossible).
