The Air Gait is that one moment in lacrosse like other moments in sports that has everyone trying to replicate it. Such an iconic and influential goal in lacrosse

@@LaxWeekly Don’t forget that Gary did the Air Gait twice in that game. The Orange needed it since they won the game (vs University of Pennsylvania) by one goal.
I was in the Carrier Dome for that game. The Orange went on to win the National Championship two days later against Cornell.
My lacrosse coach was a goalie in college and he blocked the air gait

Honorable mention, say what! This is the BEST GOAL OF ALL TIME. Never seen this done ever. I can only imagine the humiliation the Cornell goalie felt of being scored on by the Albany goalie. I watched it on live TV too.

Pretty good picks, was surprised by your #1 only because it was so long ago. Was at the game, it was indeed an incredible moment, just blew you away and spun your head for a second....then he did it again. Just crazy. Nims goal in the '09 NC game really was beyond belief too. Still can't talk to a Cornell fan about that game today without them turning a little pale and gagging a little. Unbelievable.
Mikey Powell, another Syracuse great, had several incredible goals, which you can see in videos on UA-cam. He was very fast, quick and hard to cover. He and Lyle Thompson are my picks for most dominant players. When they were on the field they seemed to play at a higher level than everyone else. I think it's fitting that they are the only players to win the Tewaaraton trophy twice.

connell vs syracuse yes they do still think of it my cousin was number 4 on Cornell at the time but i don’t know if he was playing because he had a knee injury

YESSSSS Ive been waiting for this vid, totally forgot about that Mark Matthews clean toe drag def has a spot on this list, for me Id have to add Lyle Thompsons first goal against Notre Dame in the NCAA Tourney where he comes from behind goal towards his off hand side but stings it top corner with a backhand shot I get chills every time I see that goal. Some other cool video ideas you could do could be Best/Most Dominant College lacrosse teams of all time, or like best individual performances in the NCAA Tournament so like Perkovics 5 goal game against Denver, Chris Cloutier getting 7 against Loyola than winning the championship against Maryland etc. But also a video I really want to see is a retelling of Maryland vs. UNC Championship kind of like what you did for Albany vs. Notre Dame

One thing that sticks out about the Gait goal is that the Goalie actually went for the save. Instead of just standing there thinking WTF he actually recognised it and almost got a piece of it. If he saved it, it'd be one of the best saves ever. How do you save a shot that no-ones ever seen before?
In the realm of trick shots I saw Ryan Powell score two goals on the Dome turf behind the back bouncing the ball halfway between him and the cage to the upper corners. I think it was his freshman season. Would love to see the footage of those if it exists.

I was at the 'cuse/Albany game in 2009. That was one of the most epic games I've ever had the pleasure of witnessing. I'm a bit surprised that there wasn't a single Mike Powell goal in here. He definitely had a few that made these look easy.
