I make chicken and spetzle from my Mom and Grandma, usually thickened a bit with cornstarch or flour. Everyone loves it. I am definitely going to try making it this way.

I see a pretty paw on the board while the wings are wing removed 😜🤣. Wow, the sauce has thicken up nicely, the color kinda reminds me of chicken curry LOL. The chicken looks so juicy and tender. What a great idea to use a grater to make the spaetzles. I've never realized that it looks just like the spaetzle maker and everyone has a grater at home. Awesome recipe, it's so easy but oh so delicious. Love it! 👍LIKE #3

I, too often, get chastised for my honing technique😔. You'd think they purposely want me to gut myself because I pull the knife point towards me for the second pass. Hey, nearly 35 years commercial kitchen experience and I still have all my original fingers, eyes and skin, knock on chopping board! lol!

As The Church Lady would say "well, isn't that spaetzle"! That's right, I'm not afraid to make an early 90's reference. I've made paprikash before & it's good. There was a restaurant near where I grew up that was known for paprikash & theirs was really good. Paprikash, heavy cigarette smoke, dim light, and beer ads from WW2...ahhh the good old days...
