    Question. What’s the difference if you take the pan off the heat to add the paprika, only to put it right back on the heat seconds later? Won’t the paprika still burn? And if you cook on high heat later after adding the paprika, will that also burn the paprika? Legitimate questions here because I’m trying to learn how to make this. Also what brand of Hungarian paprika do you use?

    • @aronnemcsik
      @aronnemcsik Рік тому +2

      Don't add paprika on high heat!!! It'll burn and becomes bitter which will ruin the taste.
      The paprika is delicate so it could burn easy. Taking of off the heat to cool just a little bit is the traditional way but you can add just a little( quarter of a cup) water and than add the paprika to it.
      the whole point of taking the pan off of the burner is to let it cool while we add the paprika so it won't burn.
      hope this helps.
      😊😊😊

    Hi Monica, Why did you add the sauce to the yogurt?

    • @bjorkwig6870
      @bjorkwig6870 3 роки тому +1

      i think it's so the flour in the mixture doesn't seize and gum up like a huge dumpling when it's added to the hot stew. mixing a little bit in at first makes it easier for the mixture to incorporate. also it's sour cream

      Never EVER I put sour cream ...I DONT ever use frying pan !!
      ....use POT so U can mix more ..put onion as she did ..
      Then chicken I use drumsticks or wings cut in half ..
      Saute the onions then put chicken in saute that together ..
      Then I add one to sliced tomatoes and a bit of red paprika diced up ..mix
      Then garlic
      The put around 1-2 table spoon sweet Hungarian paprika
      Mix
      Quickly put enough water levelling the chicken add Vegeta (ITS THE BEST) IF U can't find use chicken stock... Vegeta it's blue pk say half table spoon add as required
      Then cook with lid
      Keep checking if juice is down add more water salt pepper garlic Vegeta for taste ..the juice becomes thicker and chicken is cooked taste juice if U need to add any more Vegeta
      U CAN ADD POTATOES WITH CHICKEN 4-5 SMALL TO MEDIUM POTATOES ..PILL WASH CUT THEN IN 4 LONG ways ...U put them in at start with chicken
      This is how my mama and her mum made it
      Also ALWAYS great with fresh Vienna bread from bakery
      (dont get it sliced)
      ITS THE CHEAPEST AND QUICKEST MEAL U CAN EVER DO !
