Dollar tree plates; i got a set of plates, bowls, salad plates from DT, looked up the brand and NORDSTROM was selling the same plates for like $60 for a single place setting. Exactly the same.

During Covid I bought mini clear plastic cups to serve individual appetizers. Making single veggies/ dip or layered desserts in a cup give a catered look for less.

Dollar Tree is my happy place. I'm there at least once a week. I always use their rocks when creating faux succulent arrangements. Also a big fan of their air dry clay. So far I've made a small bowl/dish that I painted, but I'm hoping to tackle a bigger project with them.
Sometimes you can find nice looking candles and votive holders if you're selective. I also think their poinsettia tapestry placemats and runners for Christmas are elegant for a traditional style. I use them with white dishes all season, and this year, I plan to make some Christmas pillows out of a few placemats. Several of their Christmas items are beautiful, such as😊 the silver snowflake dinnerware and the holly tapestry table runner. I also think the metal reindeer and trees in the Plus section look high-end.
