We've each been sponsoring a child with Compassion in the Philippines for many years and it's been a dream of ours to meet them and see where they live. In December 2014 that dream became a reality!
We had an amazing trip full of fun, trick shots, playing basketball and lots of amazing people. However the best part of our travels was meeting our sponsor children and their families, and seeing first hand the difference Compassion is making in the lives of the poor. The child sponsorship program works!
We really encourage you to go to bit.ly/CompassionChildSponsorship and sponsor a child yourself! There's heaps of info available about what sponsorship is and how it works. We speak from our own experience when we say that sponsoring a child transforms not only the life of a child living in poverty, but it can also transform your life. Is incredible how this Young man had so much impact in the life of the children's and not only materially. They are blessed and obedient to God and also had enjoy with grace their gift.

I didn't know you guys are actually Christians! Wow. God Bless you guys :)) my parents are missionaries and they met these Australian guys who are now helping them on the work of God. So happy to know that you guys also do mission works in such creative ways. Mabuhay!

kian mata I'm not a christian, Im an atheist, However I believe that if you can live with a god, and can do good with believing that there is a god, Im in no way against that and good on ya. Its just sad that theres so many people that give you guys a bad wrap. I don't believe in a god because I don't see that there is actually any evidence to there being a god, and I more on the basis that I want truth due to me being lied to my whole life. And also why I have invested so much time in the scientific community. And I also don't want to believe that there is a god that will take all the credit for your good, however when you do bad it would not only be your fault, you'll go to hell for all of eternity to burn, and I believe that exactly is no punishment for what any human could even deserve, not even hitler. And I don't want to believe that there is god that would tolerate disease in the world, or even death just because one guy that none of us relate to ate the fruit. And to think that there would be a god that would construct us to get disease, and to die of such horrible things, is just sad on his part, or rather, just to me, illogical.

It's so great that you guys can mix in a video like this to a very popular channel to really expose how lucky we are as people living in a first world country. And the way you could work in the encouragement to be compassionate and love other because Jesus first loved us was really really great. yes well in the beginning God created man and woman in a perfect world without any pain and suffering, and no natural disasters. But then we as humans chose to disobey God by eating from the one tree we had been told specifically not to eat from. So it's the freedom that God gives us to live on Earth which is why we still have disaster's. This stuff happens because we, humans sin and the punishment for sin is death. But if you chose to accept that Jesus died for your sins and to follow him than your earthly body will die but your spiritual body will live with him in heaven - ETERNALLY! :) "For God so loved the world that he gave his only son and whoever believes in him shall not die but have eternal life."
