SAAR in Farsi means "pain." In the past few years, I have endured and come to understand the many different dimensions of pain-not physical pain, but the kind that is felt viscerally that enters your body like ink moving through water; the kind of pain that is felt in dreams. This pain, however, has been a catalyst for growth and healing, and has led to a deeper understanding of my own resilience and transformation. - Niloufar Shiri
