That’s not allegro whatsoever. I appreciate it, but there’s no reason to make this the concert tradition btw the tempo is implied; it’s okay either way that’s why I appreciate both this and others
Gould & Schiff are my favorite interpretations/performance of BWV 847. You can just feel the notes. The harmonies linger just enough. The voices are clear and expressive. For my taste, too many pianists rush through this entirely too quickly. (edit from typo of 547 for 847)
Busoni wrote “Allegro con fuoco” on his transcription of this piece. I guess he meant to be played fast. However, there seems to be a whole range of preferences on how fats or slow this piece should be played. If one can play it, then whomever plays can choose the tempo. Whomever listens to someone’s else interpretation, just appreciate diversity.
1:41 Fugue
Grande Musicista
Thank you very much for putting all of these together! Hope the beeb doesn't find them too soon. Danke!
I absolutely adore Andras Schiff's Handel variations.
Cudowne wykonanie.
This is the tempo that makes the music sound and not a race against the music

I agree.
@@Quim1441 I also agree. It's Bach's prowess we are meant to represent not our own.
Nice
Wow
Perfecta interpretación de este gran pianista ❤

Where do you find these additional titles to each prelude and fugue?
I was wondering too
Richter and Pollini...Rather Richter.
Nono 😂
Fast zu schnell. Man höre sich Cembalo Interpretationen an. Dann weiss man wie es etwa zu interpretieren ist.
Such a smug comment. Reminds me of when people go to the movies just to whine about how the book was so much better
Diese Interpretation hat mir doch viel gefallen.
There is no “correct” tempo for this piece
Wenn Sie schnell hören wollen, hören Sie auf Richter😉😉
@@LRPMQLRPC Ich auch.
