As always, love the factual, honest approach to your reviews. You get the information across in a way few reviewers do.. You're very watchable and the information is always concise and to the point without being condescending or overbearing. Keep doing what you're doing. P.S. I love the GoPro window mount but never seen anything like that one, what's it called or where did you get it?? I need to have one..
Good review. Factual, objective and covered all key areas. Like the flow and structure of it. Looking forward to reviews of BA's new first class product in 2025. Happy Christmas.
Let me know what you think of the review and the Virgin Atlantic Upper Class service. How do you think it compares to other airlines’ business class products? Please give the video a thumbs up and subscribe to my channel for future reviews.
The majority of virgin aircraft flying to and from holiday destinations ( the carribean mainly ) are the old coffin seats in upper class , . did you notice that the virgin lounge and ba lounge share the same loos at BGI .I went on a cruise last January 24 🚢 and flew into Miami on the A330-Neo upper class for the first time “ queen of the skies “ and is was really lovely and comfortable. , for the separate check-in at Heathrow and the club lounge I will always choose virgin over there main rival . Thanks for the great video and content it was full of information and interesting best wishes . Philip
To be honest, each time I visit Bim we fly BA, price-wise you can get 2 adults all-inclusive at Sandals with Business Class flights for less than £8K for 10 days away, nearly £4K for a one way ticket for the flight alone is a bit steep. Thanks for the insight into Virgin Atlantic, maybe one day when they align their prices a bit more with BA I might give them a shot.
Would love to know what time of year that was, M0XXQ? Also, do you recommend booking air and Sandals directly with them? We have always booked VA / Sandals direct and found VA UC way cheaper than BA Business.
@andywalsh8761 We went in July this year, the total price with BA Holidays was was just shy of 8K for 10 days. But you have to book in advance, few months or so. Plus with BA Holidays you get double tier points.
Great review - those seats - aah just as Air New Zealand’s are way past their use by date - I’m afraid I wouldn’t be paying for those unless it was a points situation 😂
The older upper class seats are showing their age now - the lack of storage options around the seat is a problem. The newer seats on the A350 and A330-900neo are far better.
Thank you for another interesting, insightful and entertaining review. I still struggle to understand how Virgin sell those seats at such an astronomical price for what is a bog standard Business level offering. I, for one, wouldn't pay it - I'm guessing the cabin comprised the full quota of upgrades via points and Virgin Holidays customers that had business flights included. Keep the reviews coming! 🙂
I really like your reviews; they are straight to the point. It's also great you're filming yourself; it helps us engage with you, the reviewer. I really don't like those seats - they look like coffins, facing inwards, have to flip over to create the bed. The food offerings looked very average. Don't understand why the FAs couldn't put their stuff above the empty seats?!
Cheeky of Virgin to ask top banana money for their out of date UC seat. I suspect BA do the same. I guess the crew have to put their bags somewhere, but it is annoying.Thank you for the great review
Thanks. On crew bags, it’s annoying when there’s an entire row of bins in the middle of Upper Class not above any seats. I don’t know why the crew don’t use these 🤷♂️
I’ve been very loyal to Virgin on transatlantic flights over the year but I’d refuse to fly that “UC” seat in 2024/25. I’d genuinely rather travel in their pretty decent Premium seat where at least it’s not bad value and you can get a real window seat without having to break your neck. Flying to Barbados for the first time in Bus next year. Think I’ll opt for BA where I understand they offer the new club suite in their 787-10.
Air NZ have the same old Business class seats as Virgin do. After a recent trip from AKL-HKG in business whereby my seat neighbours were very loud and had no respect for the other passengers I have vowed never to fly with an airline that has this hard product. You feel like you’re on top of each other. Zero privacy and zero storage space. Fortunately I was able to change seats 3 hours in to the flight.
Not sure about the backing track you’ve used for this video sorry. Sounds like it could be from a Halloween horror movie and I kept expecting Michael Myers to appear wielding a knife!😂
Really not a fan of that cabin layout just seems so awkward, but as I wouldn't be prepared to pay £3,000 + for that flight my comment is probably invalid.

Thank you for being honest with the pricing, I wouldn’t pay that much but many influencers inflate the prices…

A other brilliant re-view. A10 always your seat number.

These virgin seats seem soo claustrophobic and ridiculous for business class offering
