Thank you. This was the best and most straightforward video I came across 👍
Thanks! The last couple of times I've cleaned my chain and cassette they have been spotless but the drivetrain still squeaked. This solution fixed the issue so I'm very pleased. However, I would recommend not removing or replacing the jockey wheels anywhere near a drain. When I removed the first one, one of the sidecaps bounced and rolled towards a drain, but thankfully stopped in time! 😁
Good advice.
I really enjoy these videos. Great information with no fluff.

Hello, I have a cervelo r3 de 2017, it comes equipped with Sram force 11v. however I have the following problem, the chain jumps out of the lower pulley when the chain is diagonal ( 52/32 ) I already changed the pulley, chain, dropout... I can't solve it
I've heard that lube is not a good idea for this application as it is too thin and will dilute the grease already in the jockey wheel bearings. Can someone explain if this is ok or if grease really should be used.
Do those pulleys have sealed cartridge bearings? I can't tell. If so, it seems like soaking them in solvent would be bad as some of the solvent would surely get under the seal and dissolve the grease. And applying lube to the outside, would not get under the seal where it's needed. My Shimano pulleys have one with a sealed bearing, and one with a two-piece ceramic bushing.
Once sealed cartridges start to squeak you could replace them or try this. Teflon dry lube does a pretty good job of flushing the seals in sealed bearings.
What is "Dry Teflon Lube"?
OMG i rode out today and thought the birds were quite loud, but the squeaking noise followed me for all 4 hours of my ride. I have found this video and will try and kill two birds with one stone - as the saying goes.
Let us know how it goes.
